 ආණ්ඩුක්‍රම ව්‍යවස්ථාවේ 22 වැනි සංශෝධනය සම්බන්ධයෙන් නීතිඥ සංගමය සහ ජනාධිපතිවරයා අතර පැවති සාකච්ඡාව පිළිබඳව තැබූ සමාජ මාධ්‍ය සටහනක් හේතුවෙන් තමන්ට අසභ්‍ය වචනයෙන් දෝෂාරෝපණය එල්ල වෙමින් පවතින බව එංගලන්තයේ වෙසෙන හිටපු මාධ්‍යවේදී කුල කුරුසූරිය මහතා පවසයි.

සිය සමාජ මාධ්‍ය ගිණුම ඔස්සේ විශේෂ ප්‍රකාශයක් කරමින් ඔහු සඳහන් කර ඇත්තේ, තමන් පළ කළ අදහස්වලට විරුද්ධව ඉතා පහත් අයුරින් අසභ්‍ය වචන භාවිතා කරමින් තමන්ට බැන වදින බවයි. 

එවැනි ක්‍රියාවල නිරත වන පුද්ගලයන්ට තමන් ද එම භාෂාවෙන්ම ප්‍රතිචාර දැක්වීමට පසුබට නොවන බව ඔහු එහිදී අවධාරණය කර තිබේ.

22 වැනි ආණ්ඩුක්‍රම ව්‍යවස්ථා සංශෝධනය ගෙන ආ අවස්ථාවේ සිටම කුල කුරුසූරිය මහතා ඒ පිළිබඳව සිය දැඩි විරෝධය පළ කරමින් සිටි අයෙකි.

This reaction stems from his social media commentary regarding discussions between the legal community and the President about the 22nd amendment to the Constitution.

In a statement posted on his social media account, Kurusuriya noted that he has been subjected to vile and derogatory remarks in response to his opinions. He criticized the use of such inappropriate language, emphasizing his willingness to respond in kind to those who resort to it.

Since the announcement of the 22nd constitutional amendment, Kurusuriya has been outspoken in his opposition, signaling his firm stance against the proposed changes.
