මෙම කාන්තාව බාසික් ළඟින්ම ඇසුරු කරන හිතවතියක් බව පොලිසිය කියයි. මෙම කාන්තාව පිළිබඳ ඩුබායි පොලිසියට දැනුම් දීමක් කර ඇතැයි පොලිසිය කියයි.
මේ අතර බාසික්ගේ දේපළ භාරව ක්රියාකරන ඔහුගේ ළඟම අයකු ද අත්අඩංගුවට ගැනීමට පොලිසිය උත්සහ කර ඇතත් ඔහු දැනට උන්හිටි තැන් අත්හැර ගොස් ඇති බව සඳහන්ය.
මේ අතර බාසික් පරිහරණය කළ ජංගම දුරකථන සබඳතා අනුව ඔහු ඇසුරු කළ පුද්ගලයන් රැසකගේ තොරතුරු පොලිස් විමර්ශන කණ්ඩායම්වලට ලැබෙමින් පවතියි.

Police Set to Arrest Four Associates of Major Drug Trafficker in Colombo
In a significant development, the Colombo Central Crimes Division has revealed plans to apprehend four individuals believed to be involved in drug trafficking operations that support the activities of prominent trafficker Shiraan Basique. These arrests are expected to occur in the coming days.
Among those targeted is a woman currently residing in Dubai, according to a police officer from the Central Crimes Division. This individual is reported to be a close associate of Basique, prompting authorities to notify Dubai police regarding her activities.
Efforts are also underway to detain a close aide of Basique who is believed to have been managing his assets. However, authorities have indicated that the suspect has already fled his known location.
Meanwhile, police investigative teams are currently gathering information related to numerous individuals linked to Basique, thanks to connections derived from his mobile phone communications.
These developments mark a crucial step in tackling the drug trafficking networks operating within Colombo and beyond.
