 අගෝස්තු 12 වැනිදා ජනාධිපතිවරයා සහ ශ්‍රී ලංකා නීතිඥ සංගමයේ නියෝජිතයන් අතර පැවැති සාකච්ඡාවට අදාළ සම්පූර්ණ සහ සංස්කරණය නොකළ වීඩියෝ පටය ලබාදෙන ලෙස එම සංගමය රජයෙන් ඉල්ලීමක් කර තිබේ. 

නීතිඥ සංගමය මෙම ඉල්ලීම සිදුකර ඇත්තේ ජනාධිපති ලේකම් කාර්යාලයේ මාධ්‍ය ඒකකය වෙත ලිපියක් යොමු කරමිනි.

අගෝස්තු 14 වැනිදා නිකුත් කරන ලද මෙම ලිපිය මගින් නීතිඥ සංගමය පෙන්වා දී ඇත්තේ, අදාළ සාකච්ඡාවට සම්බන්ධ වීඩියෝ පටයක කොටසක් තමන් වෙත ලැබී ඇති නමුත් එය සම්පූර්ණ පටිගත කිරීමක් නොවන බවයි.

දැනට ලැබී ඇති වීඩියෝව මූලික සාකච්ඡාවට පමණක් සීමා වී ඇති අතර, එහි ඇතැම් ස්ථානවල ශබ්ද පරිපාලනය ද ඉතා අපැහැදිලි මට්ටමක පවතින බව එම සංගමය පවසයි.

එම නිසා, සාකච්ඡාව පුරා ඉදිරිපත් වූ සියලු අදහස් දැක්වීම්, නිරීක්ෂණ, ප්‍රතිචාර මෙන්ම නීතිඥ සංගමයේ නියෝජිත පිරිස විසින් අවසානයේ සිදුකරන ලද විශේෂ ප්‍රකාශය ද ඇතුළත් වන පරිදි සම්පූර්ණ වීඩියෝව ලබාදෙන ලෙස ඔවුන් ඉල්ලා ඇත.

කිසිදු සංස්කරණයකට ලක් නොකළ මෙම දර්ශන පෙළ ඉහළම ශ්‍රව්‍ය හා දෘශ්‍ය ගුණාත්මක භාවයෙන් යුතුව ලබාදීමට කටයුතු කරන ලෙස ද ශ්‍රී ලංකා නීතිඥ සංගමය සිය ලිපිය මගින් වැඩිදුරටත් අවධාරණය කර තිබේ.

Legal Association Requests Full Video of Presidential Discussion

The Sri Lanka Bar Association has formally requested the government to provide an unedited and complete video of the discussion that took place between the President and representatives of the association on August 12.

This request was communicated through a letter directed to the media unit of the Presidential Secretariat.

In the letter, which was issued on August 14, the Bar Association indicated that while they have received a segment of the video concerning the discussion, it is not a full recording of the event.

The currently available footage only captures the preliminary part of the discussion, and the audio quality in certain sections is reportedly quite unclear, according to the association.

Consequently, they are urging that the complete video, which should include all opinions, observations, and feedback presented throughout the discussion, as well as the final statements made by the representatives of the Bar Association, be made available.

The association reiterated the importance of receiving this unedited footage in a format that maintains the highest standards of audio and visual quality, outlining their commitment to transparency in the matter.
