 පේන තෙක් මානයක කිසිදු මැතිවරණයක් පැවැත්වීමට නියමිත නැති බවත්, ආණ්ඩුවට එරෙහිව කිසිදු ප්‍රබල අභියෝගයක් එල්ල වී නොමැති බවත් නියෝජ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය එරංග වීරරත්න මහතා පවසයි.

රත්මලානේ පැවති තරුණ සමුළුවක් අමතමින් ඒ මහතා මේ බව ප්‍රකාශ කළේය.

නියෝජ්‍ය අමාත්‍යවරයා එහිදී අවධාරණය කළේ වත්මන් රජයට එරෙහිව කිසිදු දේශපාලන අභියෝගයක් නොමැති බැවින්, තවත් පරම්පරා හතක් යනතුරු මෙම ආණ්ඩුවම පවතිනු ඇති බවයි.

පැවති දූෂිත දේශපාලන සංස්කෘතිය සම්පූර්ණයෙන්ම වෙනස් වී ඇති බවත්, මෙරට ඉතිහාසයේ පළමු වතාවට නීතියේ ආධිපත්‍යය නිසි ලෙස ක්‍රියාත්මක වන බවත් ඔහු පෙන්වා දුන්නේය.

"මීට පෙර වසර හයක් පමණ ඇදුණු නඩු දැන් මාස හයකින් විභාග වන තත්ත්වයට පත්ව තිබෙනවා. නාමල් රාජපක්ෂ වැනි අයට පවා අද නීතිය හමුවේ පෙනී සිටීමට සිදුව ඇත්තේ ඒ නිසයි," යනුවෙන් ඔහු පැවසීය.

මීට පෙර පැවති පාලන සමයන්හිදී අධිකරණ අමාත්‍යවරුන්ගේ පුතුන් සහ දේශපාලනඥයන් නීතියට බලපෑම් කළ ආකාරයත්, සිරකරුවන් කූඩුවලට දැමිය යුත්තේ කෙසේදැයි ඔවුන් තීරණය කළ ආකාරයත් චිත්‍රපටවල මෙන් සැබෑ ජීවිතයේදී සිදු වූ බවත්, එම යුගය දැන් අවසන් වී ඇති බවත් අමාත්‍යවරයා වැඩිදුරටත් සඳහන් කළේය.

මෙම රජය ජනතාව විසින් ගොඩනැගූ සැබෑ ජනතා ආණ්ඩුවක් බවත්, එය දේශපාලන අපරාධකරුවන්ගෙන් ආරක්ෂා කරගත යුතු බවත් ඔහු පැවසීය. සමාජවාදී තරුණ සංගමය හරහා තරුණ තරුණියන්ට රැකියා ලබාදීමට වඩා, ඔවුන්ගේ ජීවිතය සහ බලාපොරොත්තු ගොඩනැගීමේ පුළුල් වැඩපිළිවෙළක් ක්‍රියාත්මක කරන බව ද ඔහු අවධාරණය කළේය.

පරාජය කළ ද විනාශ කළ නොහැකි දේශපාලන බලවේගයක් ලෙස තමන් ඉදිරියට යන බවත්, පවතින අර්බුද හමුවේ වුවද රජය ස්ථාවරව පවතින බවත් නියෝජ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය එරංග වීරරත්න මහතා මෙහිදී වැඩිදුරටත් ප්‍රකාශ කළේය.

No Upcoming Elections or Significant Challenges to Government, Says Deputy Minister

Deputy Minister Eranga Weeraratne emphasized that there are no plans for any elections in the foreseeable future, nor are there any substantial challenges to the current government. His remarks came during a youth conference held in Rathmalana.

Weeraratne highlighted the absence of political opposition to the current administration, suggesting that it could remain in power for at least another six-year term. He asserted that the long-standing culture of political corruption has undergone a significant transformation and that, for the first time in Sri Lankan history, the rule of law is being effectively implemented.

"Cases that were pending for approximately six years are now being resolved within six months. Even individuals like Namal Rajapaksa find themselves subject to the law today," he noted, underscoring the progress in judicial processes.

The Deputy Minister also reflected on how past governments allowed the influence of political figures, including sons of previous ministers, to undermine the legal system. He pointed out that the era of arbitrary decisions regarding prisoners has ended.

Weeraratne asserted that this government represents a genuine people's administration that needs protection from political criminals. He emphasized that rather than merely providing job opportunities through the Socialist Youth League, there is a broader initiative in place to improve the quality of life and aspirations of the youth.

Lastly, he declared that despite facing significant challenges, his party is advancing as an indomitable political force. The current governmental stability, he said, remains intact amidst the prevailing crisis.
