රේගුවේ තවත් ලොකු වංචාවක්.. ජනාධිපති යාළුවාගේ රිපෝට් හංගලා..- DV

 ශ්‍රී ලංකා රේගුව තුළ සිදුවූ මහා පරිමාණ වංචාවක් සම්බන්ධයෙන් කෙරුණු පරීක්ෂණ වාර්තාවක් ජනාධිපතිවරයා විසින් හිතාමතාම යටගසා ඇති බවට පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රී ඩී.වී. චානක මහතා පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේදී බරපතළ චෝදනාවක් එල්ල කළේය.

රේගුවේ Red Channel හරහා මෙරටට ගෙන්වන ලද අඩි 40ක බහාලුමක් පරීක්ෂා කිරීමේදී මෙම වංචාව අනාවරණය වී ඇති බව මන්ත්‍රීවරයා පැවසීය.

වාහන අමතර කොටස්, එන්ජින් සහ අසුන් තොගයක් අඩංගු වූ මෙම බහාලුම පරීක්ෂා කළ පළමු සහ දෙවන කණ්ඩායම් එහි කිසිදු ගැටලුවක් නොමැති බවට වාර්තා කර තිබුණද, රේගු මධ්‍යම විමර්ශන අංශය විසින් සිදුකළ තෙවන පරීක්ෂාවේදී භාණ්ඩ වර්ග 85ක් හඳුනාගෙන ඇති බව ඔහු පෙන්වා දුන්නේය.

එම භාණ්ඩ අතරින් වර්ග 45ක් රේගුවට ප්‍රකාශ කර නොතිබූ ඒවා බවත්, ඒ යටතේ හොර රහසේ ගෙන්වන ලද ඒකක 355ක් තිබූ බවත් මන්ත්‍රීවරයා අනාවරණය කළේය.

මීට අමතරව ආනයන බලපත්‍ර නොමැති වාහන අසුන් 122ක් සහ රිම් සහිත ටයර් 18ක් ද එම බහාලුම තුළ තිබී හමු වී ඇත.

මෙම වංචාවට සම්බන්ධ බවට චෝදනා එල්ල වී ඇති රේගු නිලධාරියා වර්තමානයේ ජනාධිපති ලේකම් කාර්යාලයේ ඉහළ තනතුරක් දරන ජනාධිපතිවරයාගේ සමීපතමයෙකු බව ඩී.වී. චානක මහතා මෙහිදී සඳහන් කළේය.

මේ සම්බන්ධයෙන් වූ බුද්ධි අංශ පරීක්ෂණ වාර්තාව මුදල් අමාත්‍යාංශ ලේකම්වරයා හරහා ජනාධිපතිවරයා වෙත යොමු කර තිබුණද, සිය හිතවතා ආරක්ෂා කිරීම වෙනුවෙන් ජනාධිපතිවරයා එම වාර්තාව ප්‍රසිද්ධ නොකර සඟවාගෙන සිටින බවට මන්ත්‍රීවරයා වැඩිදුරටත් චෝදනා කර සිටියේය.

මෙම දූෂිත ක්‍රියාවලිය සම්බන්ධයෙන් ජනාධිපතිවරයා වහාම රටට ප්‍රකාශයක් කළ යුතු බවත්, අධිකරණයට පවා බලපෑම් කරමින් මෙවැනි වංචාකරුවන් ආරක්ෂා කිරීම රටේ අනාගතයට බරපතළ තර්ජනයක් බවත් මන්ත්‍රීවරයා අවධාරණය කළේය.

Major Customs Fraud Allegations Rock Sri Lanka

During a recent parliamentary session, MP D.V. Chanaka leveled serious allegations against President Ranil Wickremesinghe, claiming that he deliberately suppressed an investigative report linked to a massive fraud within Sri Lanka Customs.

Chanaka disclosed that the fraud was uncovered during the examination of a 40-foot container imported through the Customs Red Channel. This container contained a large shipment of vehicle spare parts, engines, and seats.

While the initial and secondary inspection teams reported no irregularities, a third inspection conducted by the Customs Central Investigation Division revealed discrepancies involving 85 different types of goods. Notably, 45 of these items had not been declared to Customs, including 355 units that were allegedly smuggled.

The shipment also included 122 vehicle seats and 18 tires with rims that lacked the required import licenses. Chanaka pointed out that the Customs officer implicated in this fraud is closely associated with a high-ranking official in the President’s Office.

The intelligence division’s investigative report has already been forwarded to the President through the Secretary of the Ministry of Finance. However, Chanaka accused the President of withholding this report to protect his associates.

He stressed the urgent need for the President to make a public statement regarding this corrupt operation, warning that shielding such fraudsters could pose a grave threat to the future of the country.
