යෝෂිතට-රෝහිතට අයත් කියන අක්කර 135ක තේ වත්තක් ගැන පරීක්‍ෂණ..

 හිටපු ජනාධිපති මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ මහතාගේ පුතුන් වන යෝෂිත රාජපක්ෂ සහ රෝහිත රාජපක්ෂ යන අයට අයත් බව කියන නාවලපිටිය, දොලොස්බාගේ ප්‍රදේශයේ පිහිටි අක්කර 135ක තේ වත්තක් සම්බන්ධයෙන් විශේෂ විමර්ශනයක් පැවැත්වීමට අපරාධයකින් උත්පාදිත දේ පිළිබඳ විමර්ශන කොට්ඨාසය තීරණය කර ඇති බව වාර්තා වේ.

‘අල්ලස, දූෂණය, නාස්තියට එරෙහි පුරවැසි බලය’ සංවිධානයේ සභාපති ජාමුණි කාමන්ත තුෂාර මහතා විසින් සිදුකරන ලද පැමිණිල්ලකට අදාළව මෙම විමර්ශන කටයුතු ආරම්භ කර තිබේ.

අදාළ පැමිණිල්ල සම්බන්ධයෙන් පරීක්ෂණයක් සිදු කිරීමට තීරණය කළ බව අපරාධයකින් උත්පාදිත දේ පිළිබඳ විමර්ශන කොට්ඨාසය විසින් පැමිණිලිකරු වෙත ලිඛිතව දැනුම් දී ඇති අතර, පැමිණිල්ලේ සඳහන් කරුණු සනාථ කිරීම සඳහා අදාළ ලේඛනගත සාක්ෂි ද සහිතව ප්‍රකාශයක් ලබා දීමට මෙම මස 14 වැනිදා පෙරවරු 9.00ට එම කොට්ඨාසය හමුවේ පෙනී සිටින ලෙස ද ඔහුට දැනුම් දී ඇත.

2021 දෙසැම්බර් මස 11 වැනිදා ‘ඔසා ප්ලාන්ටේෂන්’ (Osa Plantations) සමාගමේ අධ්‍යක්ෂ ධුර සඳහා වෙනත් පුද්ගලයන් තිදෙනෙකු ඉදිරියට දමා, සැබෑ හිමිකාරීත්වය වසන් කරමින් මෙම දේපළ අත්පත් කරගෙන ඇති බවට අදාළ පැමිණිල්ල මඟින් චෝදනා කර තිබේ.

එමෙන්ම CSN නාලිකාව හරහා මුදල් විශුද්ධිකරණය කර ඇති බවටත්, රාජ්‍ය බලය අයුතු ලෙස යොදවා උපයාගත් අරමුදල් භාවිත කරමින් මෙම දොලොස්බාගේ වතුයාය මිලදී ගෙන ඇති බවටත් එම පැමිණිල්ල මඟින් වැඩිදුරටත් චෝදනා එල්ල කර ඇත.

Investigation Initiated into Tea Estate Linked to Former President's Sons

Authorities have decided to launch a special investigation into a 135-acre tea plantation located in the Dolosbag area of Nawalapitiya, reportedly owned by former President Mahinda Rajapaksa's sons, Yoshitha and Rohitha Rajapaksa.

The decision follows a complaint lodged by Tushara Jamuni Kamanta, the chairman of the organization "Citizen Power Against Corruption and Abuse," which led to the inquiry being initiated.

A written notice from the investigation division has confirmed the commencement of an inquiry into the allegations raised in the complaint. The complainant has been informed to provide a statement, along with relevant documented evidence, in front of the division on the morning of the 14th of this month at 9:00 AM.

The complaint alleges that the plantation, acquired under questionable circumstances on December 11, 2021, was taken over by the Osa Plantations company, despite other candidates being in line for the director position, thereby allegedly masking the true ownership.

Additionally, the complaint accuses the Rajapaksas of money laundering through the CSN channel and claims that funds gained from the improper exercise of state power were utilized to purchase this tea estate in Dolosbag.
