 මෙවර පැවැති 2026 අධ්‍යයන පොදු සහතික පත්‍ර උසස් පෙළ විභාගයේ භෞතික විද්‍යා ප්‍රශ්න පත්‍රයේ ප්‍රශ්න තුනක් දෝෂ සහිත බව පවසමින් කොළඹ ප්‍රධාන පෙළේ ජනප්‍රිය පාසලක භෞතික විද්‍යා ගුරුවරයෙකු විසින් මානව හිමිකම් කොමිෂන් සභාව වෙත පැමිණිල්ලක් ඉදිරිපත් කර තිබේ.

භෞතික විද්‍යා බහුවරණ ප්‍රශ්න පත්‍රයේ අංක 17, 18 සහ 39 යන ප්‍රශ්න මෙලෙස දෝෂ සහිත බවට හඳුනාගෙන ඇත. 

එම ප්‍රශ්න නිවැරදි නොවන බැවින්, විභාගයට පෙනී සිටි සියලුම සිසුන් වෙත එම ප්‍රශ්න වෙනුවෙන් පොදුවේ ලකුණු ලබා දීමට නිර්දේශ කරන ලෙස අදාළ ගුරුවරයා සිය පැමිණිල්ල මගින් මානව හිමිකම් කොමිෂන් සභාවෙන් ඉල්ලා සිටියි.

මෙම ප්‍රශ්න තුන නිවැරදි නොවන බව පෙන්වා දෙමින් ඔහු විභාග කොමසාරිස් ජනරාල්වරයා වෙත ද පැමිණිල්ලක් ඉදිරිපත් කර ඇත. 

සිසුන්ට සිදුවන අසාධාරණය වැළැක්වීම සඳහා විධිමත් පියවරක් ගන්නා ලෙස එම ගුරුවරයා බලධාරීන්ගෙන් ඉල්ලා සිටී.

Concerns Raised Over Errors in A/L Physics Exam Questions

A physics teacher from a prominent school in Colombo has lodged a formal complaint with the Human Rights Commission, citing errors in three questions of the recently conducted 2026 General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (GCE A/L) physics exam.

The identified problematic questions are numbers 17, 18, and 39 from the multiple-choice section of the paper. The teacher asserts that these questions are incorrect, affecting the fairness of the examination for all students who sat for the test.

In the complaint, the educator requested the Human Rights Commission to recommend awarding generic marks to all candidates for these questions, given their erroneous nature.

The teacher also submitted a separate appeal to the Chief Commissioner of Examinations, emphasizing the necessity of addressing the issues with the three questions to prevent any injustice to the students.

He urged relevant authorities to take prompt and structured action to ensure fairness for all candidates involved.
