 මෙම මස අවසානයේදී සිදු කිරීමට නියමිත මිල සංශෝධනයේදී කිසිදු ආකාරයකින් ඉන්ධන මිල ඉහළ නොදමන බවට බලශක්ති අමාත්‍ය අනුර කරුණාතිලක මහතා අද සහතික විය.

අමාත්‍යවරයා ප්‍රකාශ කළේ, ජනාධිපති අනුර කුමාර දිසානායක මහතා නිවේදනය කළ පරිදිම ජනතාව වෙත ඉන්ධන මිල සහනයක් ලබාදීමට රජය මේ වන විට කටයුතු සූදානම් කරමින් සිටින බවයි.

එම සහනය ලබාදෙන ප්‍රමාණය කොපමණ ද යන්න පිළිබඳව ඉදිරියේදී කඩිනමින් තීරණය කිරීමට නියමිත බව ද හෙතෙම සඳහන් කළේය.

මහජනතාව මත පැටවී ඇති මූල්‍යමය පීඩනය ලිහිල් කිරීමේ අරමුණින්, පසුගිය අප්‍රේල්, මැයි, ජූනි සහ ජූලි යන මාසවලදී ද රජය විසින් ඉන්ධන මිල සහන ලබාදීමට පියවර ගත් බව අමාත්‍යවරයා මෙහිදී වැඩිදුරටත් පෙන්වා දුන්නේය.

Energy Minister Anura Kumara Dissanayake has assured the public that there will be no increase in fuel prices in the upcoming price revision at the end of this month. His statement follows the government's ongoing efforts to provide relief to citizens regarding fuel costs.

Confirming the government's commitment to easing fuel prices, the minister emphasized that actions are currently being prepared to ensure that the public receives this relief, as previously announced by President Dissanayake.

Details on the extent of the price relief are expected to be determined swiftly in the near future, highlighting the government's proactive approach to mitigate the financial burden on citizens.

The minister also reminded the public of the measures taken in April, May, June, and July, where the government provided similar fuel price relief as part of its efforts to alleviate the financial pressures faced by the population.
