 ළමා රෝහල වෙත චීනයෙන් නොමිලේ පරිත්‍යාගයක් ලෙස ලැබුණු වෛද්‍ය යන්ත්‍රයක් වෙනුවෙන් සිරිලිය සවිය ගිණුම හරහා මුදල් එක්රැස් කර ඇති බවට ජාතික ජන බලවේගයේ පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රී අසිත නිරෝෂණ මහතා චෝදනා කරයි.

මාධ්‍ය වෙත අදහස් දක්වමින් මන්ත්‍රීවරයා පෙන්වා දුන්නේ, නොමිලේ ලැබුණු උපකරණයක් සඳහා ද මුදල් එකතු කිරීමට තරම් එම පාර්ශ්වයන් සදාචාරාත්මකව පරිහානියට පත්ව ඇති බවයි.

එවැනි ක්‍රියාවල නිරත වූ පුද්ගලයන්ගේ මානසික තත්ත්වය පරීක්ෂා කිරීම සඳහා ඔවුන් මානසික වෛද්‍යවරුන් වෙත යොමු කළ යුතු බවත්, රටක ජනාධිපතිවරයෙකුගේ බිරිඳක් මෙවැනි පහත් මට්ටමකට ඇද වැටීම අතිශය කනගාටුදායක බවත් ඒ මහතා වැඩිදුරටත් සඳහන් කළේය.

Allegations of Misuse of Donations for Free Medical Equipment in Sri Lanka

Concerns have arisen over the financial handling of medical equipment received as a donation from China for the Children's Hospital, as highlighted by Member of Parliament Asitha Nirushan from the National People’s Power. He claims that funds have been raised through the Siriliya Saviya account intended for equipment that was provided free of charge.

While addressing the media, the MP pointed out the ethical dilemma of soliciting funds for equipment that was supposed to be donated. He emphasized that such behavior reflects poorly on the involved factions.

Nirushan further suggested that individuals involved in such activities should be referred to mental health professionals, expressing dismay that the wife of a president could stoop to such a low level of conduct.
