All Schools in Nuwara Eliya to Remain Closed Tomorrow Due to Adverse Weather Conditions
In response to ongoing severe weather conditions, officials have announced that all schools within the Nuwara Eliya educational zone will be closed tomorrow, September 25, 2026.
The Director of Education for the Nuwara Eliya zone, D.M.S.D. Disanayake, issued a statement confirming that the decision to grant a day off to students comes as a precautionary measure in light of the current adverse weather conditions affecting the region.
*Note: In case of any discrepancy between the Sinhala and English versions, the Sinhala version shall prevail.
