දිනය අවසානයේ සියලු කොටස් මිල දර්ශකය (ASPI) පෙර දිනයට සාපේක්ෂව ඒකක 125.97කින් හෙවත් සියයට 0.60කින් පහත වැටී ඒකක 20,817.82ක් ලෙස සටහන් විය.
මීට අමතරව, වඩාත් සක්රීය සමාගම් නියෝජනය කරන ‘එස් ඇන්ඩ් පී ශ්රී ලංකා 20’ (S&P SL20) දර්ශකය ද ඒකක 24.32කින් (සියයට 0.41කින්) පහළ ගොස් ඒකක 5,896.40ක් ලෙස දිනය නිමා කළේය.
දර්ශකවල මෙම පසුබෑම මධ්යයේ වුවද, වෙළෙඳපොළ තුළ රුපියල් බිලියනය ඉක්මවූ ගනුදෙනු පිරිවැටුමක් වාර්තා වීම විශේෂත්වයකි.
ඒ අනුව දවසේ සමස්ත පිරිවැටුම රුපියල් 1,010,213,001.30ක් (රුපියල් බිලියන 1.01ක්) ලෙස සටහන් වූ අතර, ගනුදෙනු වූ මුළු කොටස් පරිමාව 69,627,582කි.
දිනය පුරා සිදුවූ සමස්ත ගනුදෙනු සංඛ්යාව 16,095ක් ලෙස වාර්තා විය.
Colombo Stock Market Experiences Decline Amidst High Trading Volume
On September 29, the Colombo stock market closed with both major indices reflecting a downward trend.
At the end of the trading day, the All Share Price Index (ASPI) fell by 125.97 points, which is a decrease of 0.60%, bringing the index down to 20,817.82 points compared to the previous day.
Additionally, the S&P Sri Lanka 20 Index also experienced a drop, decreasing by 24.32 points or 0.41%, closing at 5,896.40 points.
Despite this downturn in the indices, the market noted a significant trading volume, with total transactions surpassing one billion rupees.
The total turnover for the day was recorded at Rs. 1,010,213,001.30, equivalent to Rs. 1.01 billion, alongside a trading volume of 69,627,582 shares.
Throughout the day, a total of 16,095 transactions were reported.
