 චාමර සම්පත් යනු පාර්ලිමේන්තුවට නොව පස්සර ප්‍රාදේශීය සභාවට හෝ සුදුසු හාදයෙකු නොවන බව ජාතික ජනබලවේග පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රි අසිත නිරෝෂණ මහතා පවසයි.

මොහු සිදු කළ අපරාධ ගැන විමර්ශන කර පාර්ලිමේන්තු කාලය ඉතිරිකර දෙන ලෙස අධිකරණයෙන් ඉල්ලා සිටින බවද ඔහු අවධාරණය කරයි.

චාමර සම්පත් ගුරුවරුන් දණ ගස්සා, පාසල් බෑග් ගැනීමට බැංකුවෙන් මුදල් ලබා ගෙන පළාත් සභාවටත් පාඩු කර දැන් ආණ්ඩුවට උපදෙස් දෙන්නට පැමිණ ඇතැයිද අසිත නිරෝෂණ මහතා ප්‍රකාශ කරයි.

Parliament Member Questions Qualifications of Local Politician

Asitha Nirushan, a member of the National People's Power in Parliament, has cast doubts on the qualifications of Chamara Sampath, asserting that he is unfit for parliamentary duties and should instead focus on his role in local government.

Nirushan emphasized that there are ongoing investigations into the alleged criminal activities linked to Sampath, urging the judiciary to expedite these matters to conserve parliamentary time.

He pointed out that Sampath had reportedly misappropriated funds, acquiring money from banks under the guise of purchasing school bags for students, thus undermining the local council. Now, he appears to be advising the government despite these serious allegations, according to Nirushan.

While addressing Parliament, Nirushan expressed these concerns regarding Sampath's conduct explicitly.
