 මොරටුව, රාවතාවත්ත එමානුවෙල් මාවත ප්‍රදේශයේදී ත්‍රිරෝද රථ රියැදුරෙකු ඉලක්ක කර වෙඩි ප්‍රහාරයක් එල්ල වී ඇතැයි මොරටුව පොලීසිය පවසයි.

යතුරුපැදියකින් පැමිණි නාඳුනන තුවක්කුකරුවන් දෙදෙනෙකු විසින් මෙම වෙඩි ප්‍රහාරය එල්ල කර පළාගොස් ඇති අතර, ප්‍රහාරයෙන් කිසිදු පුද්ගලයෙකුට තුවාල හෝ ජීවිත හානියක් සිදුව නොමැති බව පොලීසිය තහවුරු කරයි.

මෙසේ වෙඩි ප්‍රහාරයට ලක්ව දිවි බේරාගෙන ඇත්තේ අඟුලාන ප්‍රදේශයේ පදිංචි, මොරටුව මහා නගර සභාවේ සේවය කරනු ලබන පුද්ගලයෙකි.

මත්ද්‍රව්‍ය ජාවාරම්කරුවන් අතර පවතින ආරවුලක ප්‍රතිඵලයක් ලෙස මෙම වෙඩි තැබීම සිදුකරන්නට ඇති බවට පොලීසිය සැක පළ කරයි.

සිද්ධියට සම්බන්ධ සැකකරුවන් හඳුනාගෙන අත්අඩංගුවට ගැනීම සඳහා මොරටුව පොලීසිය විසින් විශේෂ පොලිස් කණ්ඩායම් දෙකක් යොදවා පුළුල් විමර්ශන ආරම්භ කර තිබේ.

Shooting Targeting Three-Wheeler Driver in Moratuwa

A shooting incident aimed at a three-wheeler driver has been reported in the Ravatavatta Emmanuel Mawatha area of Moratuwa, as confirmed by local police.

The attack was executed by two unidentified shooters who arrived on a motorcycle, and they fled the scene immediately afterwards. Fortunately, no injuries or fatalities resulted from the shooting.

The targeted individual is a resident of the Angulana area and serves on the Moratuwa Municipal Council.

Police suspect that the shooting might be connected to an ongoing dispute among drug traffickers.

In response, special police teams have been deployed to conduct extensive investigations and identify the suspects involved in the incident.
