පසුගිය කාලය පුරා රටේ මහජන දේපළ කොල්ලකෑමට ලක්වූ ආකාරය හමුවේ, තමන් ඇතුළු පිරිස තවමත් රාත්‍රියට පවා නිදාගන්නේ ඇස් ඇරගෙන දැඩි විමසිල්ලෙන් බව කඩුවෙල මහ නගර සභාවේ නගරාධිපති රන්ජන් ජයලාල් මහතා පවසයි.

ජනහමුවක් අමතමින් නගරාධිපතිවරයා අවධාරණය කළේ, වල් අලින් පවා හික්මවා පෙරහර කරඬුව වඩම්මන තත්ත්වයට පත්කළේද මිනිසා බවත්, දෙවියන් පවා නිර්මාණය කළ මිනිසාට කළ නොහැකි කිසිදු අභියෝගයක් නොමැති බවත්ය.

එහිදී වැඩිදුරටත් අදහස් දැක්වූ ඒ මහතා සඳහන් කළේ, මහජන ධනය අවභාවිත කළ පිරිස්වලට මේ වන විටත් කළ කම් පලදෙමින් පවතින බවත්, ඇතැමුන් නීතියෙන් බේරීමට රටින් පලායමින් සිටින බවත්ය.

තමන්ගේ ඇස් දෙක පියවෙන සුළු මොහොතකදී පවා ජනතා දේපළ සොරාකෑමට ඉඩ නොතබා ආරක්ෂා කිරීම වෙනුවෙන් දිවා රෑ නොබලා කැපවන බව ඔහු පෙන්වා දුන්නේය.

එමෙන්ම, පළාත් පාලන ආයතනවල නියෝජිතයන් මහජන මුදලින් යැපෙන බවට සමාජයේ ඇතැම් පාර්ශ්ව තුළ වැරදි මතයක් පැවතියද, තමන් නිවසින් පවා ආහාර රැගෙන විත් මහජන මුදල් ශතයක් හෝ නාස්ති නොකර අවංකව කටයුතු කරන බවද නගරාධිපතිවරයා වැඩිදුරටත් සඳහන් කළේය.

The alarming rate of public property theft across the country has left the residents of Kadawatha on high alert, with Mayor Ranjan Jayalal expressing concerns about the ongoing situation. He noted that he and his team remain vigilant, even during the night, ensuring they are always on guard against potential theft.

Addressing a recent public meeting, the Mayor underscored the fact that humanity, despite its flaws, has the ability to overcome challenges. He emphasized that if humans were capable of creating even gods, there should be no challenges they cannot confront.

Further discussing the misuse of public funds, he pointed out that groups implicated in such corruption continue to roam free, with some fleeing the country to evade justice. The Mayor highlighted the ongoing battle to protect public assets, stating that he remains dedicated to this mission day and night, leaving no opportunity for theft.

Additionally, he addressed a prevalent misconception within some segments of society regarding representatives of local government supposedly benefiting from public money. Reassuring the community, he confirmed his commitment to integrity, stating that he personally ensures public funds are not wasted while even bringing food from home to avoid misuse.
