‘නාමල් අද ගන්නවා.. රතිඤ්ඤා දාන්න, බැනර් ගහන්න’ කියා රට පුරා පණිවුඩ යවලා..

 පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රී නාමල් රාජපක්ෂ මහතා අත්අඩංගුවට ගෙන සිරගත කළද, ලබන 12 වනදා අනුරාධපුරයේ පැවැත්වීමට නියමිත ශ්‍රී ලංකා පොදුජන පෙරමුණේ දැවැන්ත ජන රැළිය කිසිදු බාධාවකින් තොරව අතිසාර්ථක අයුරින් පවත්වන බව එම පක්ෂයේ ප්‍රකාශක මිලින්ද රාජපක්ෂ මහතා පැවසීය.

අද (04) පෙරවරුවේ නාමල් රාජපක්ෂ මහතා අල්ලස් හෝ දූෂණ චෝදනා විමර්ශන කොමිෂන් සභාව හමුවේ පෙනී සිටි අවස්ථාවේදී, එම පරිශ්‍රයෙන් පිටත රැඳී සිටි මාධ්‍යවේදීන් අමතමින් ඔහු මේ බව සඳහන් කළේය.

"නාමල් මන්ත්‍රීතුමාව අත්අඩංගුවට ගත්තොත් අපි තවත් දෙගුණයක සෙනඟක් අනුරාධපුරයට ගේනවා. මේ අත්අඩංගුවට ගැනීමේ උත්සාහය පිටුපස දේශපාලන අරමුණක් තියෙනවා. මේ සති අන්තයේ ජනාධිපතිතුමාටත් රැස්වීමක් තියෙනවා. නමුත් එතුමාට ජනතාවට කියන්න දෙයක් නැහැ. වරායවල්, එයාර්පෝට්, හයිවේ හැදුවා කියන්නද? නැත්නම් පාන්පිටි, කිරිපිටි මිල අඩු කළා කියන්නද? කියන්න දෙයක් නැති නිසා නාමල් රාජපක්ෂ අත්අඩංගුවට ගත්තා කියලා එදාට අප්පුඩි ගස්සවන්නයි මේ හදන්නේ," යැයි මිලින්ද රාජපක්ෂ මහතා චෝදනා කළේය.

තවදුරටත් අදහස් දක්වමින් ඔහු කියා සිටියේ, නාමල් රාජපක්ෂ මහතා අත්අඩංගුවට ගත් පසු ගම් මට්ටමින් රතිඤ්ඤා පත්තු කර, බැනර් සහ කටවුට් ප්‍රදර්ශනය කරමින් සැමරීමට සූදානම් වන ලෙස ජනතා විමුක්ති පෙරමුණ විසින් සිය පාක්ෂිකයන් වෙත වට්ස්ඇප් පණිවිඩ මගින් උපදෙස් දී ඇති බවට තොරතුරු ලැබී ඇති බවයි.

ආණ්ඩුවට විරුද්ධව හඬ නගන විට සහ පක්ෂය ශක්තිමත් වන විට මෙවැනි කැඳවීම් සහ මර්දනයන් සාමාන්‍ය දෙයක් බවත්, ඒ කිසිවකින් තම දේශපාලන ගමන නැවැත්විය නොහැකි බවත් ඔහු වැඩිදුරටත් අවධාරණය කළේය.

Namala Rajapaksa’s Arrest Won't Hinder Upcoming Rally, Claims Party Spokesperson

Despite the arrest of parliament member Namal Rajapaksa, the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) is poised to hold a highly successful mass rally in Anuradhapura on the 12th, according to party spokesperson Milinda Rajapaksa.

This assertion came earlier today as Namal Rajapaksa was present at the Commission Investigating Allegations of Bribery or Corruption, where he addressed gathered media outside the venue.

"If Namal Rajapaksa is taken into custody, we will bring even larger crowds to Anuradhapura. This attempt to arrest him is politically motivated. The President also has a meeting coming up this weekend, but he has nothing of substance to share with the public. Is he going to boast about building ports, airports, or highways? Or will he claim that the prices of bread and milk have been reduced? There is nothing to say, so they're manufacturing this narrative of Namal's arrest," Milinda Rajapaksa emphasized.

Further elaborating, he indicated that the JVP (Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna) had instructed its supporters via WhatsApp to prepare for a display of solidarity with banners and cutouts at the grassroots level following Namal Rajapaksa's arrest.

He reiterated that such summons and crackdowns are commonplace whenever there is dissent against the government, asserting that these actions will not obstruct their political journey.
