 සේවා අවශ්‍යතා පදනම් කරගනිමින් ජ්‍යෙෂ්ඨ පොලිස් නිලධාරීන් පිරිසක් වහාම ක්‍රියාත්මක වන පරිදි ස්ථාන මාරු කිරීමට පොලිස් මූලස්ථානය පියවර ගෙන තිබේ.

ඒ අනුව, අපරාධ හා රථවාහන භාර ජ්‍යෙෂ්ඨ නියෝජ්‍ය පොලිස්පති රන්මල් කොඩිතුවක්කු, නියෝජ්‍ය පොලිස්පති අශෝක ධර්මසේන, පොලිස් මත්ද්‍රව්‍ය නාශක කාර්යාංශයේ අධ්‍යක්ෂවරයා මෙන්ම සහකාර පොලිස් අධිකාරීවරුන් කිහිප දෙනෙකු මෙලෙස වෙනත් සේවා ස්ථාන වෙත මාරු කර යැවීමට නිර්දේශ කර ඇති බව පොලිස් ආරංචි මාර්ග අනාවරණය කරයි.

මේ සම්බන්ධයෙන් කරන ලද විමසීමකදී ජ්‍යෙෂ්ඨ නියෝජ්‍ය පොලිස්පති රන්මල් කොඩිතුවක්කු මහතා සඳහන් කර සිටියේ, තමන්ව ඌව පළාත භාරව මාරු කර යැවීමට නියමිත බවට තොරතුරු ලැබී ඇති බවයි.

මෙම ස්ථාන මාරුවීම් ක්‍රියාත්මක කිරීම සඳහා අවශ්‍ය අනුමැතිය ලබාගැනීමේ අරමුණින් පොලිස් මූලස්ථානය විසින් අදාළ නිර්දේශ ඇතුළත් ලිපිය මේ වන විටත් ජාතික පොලිස් කොමිෂන් සභාව වෙත යොමු කර ඇත.

පොලිස් නිලධාරීන්ගේ ස්ථාන මාරුවීම් සම්බන්ධයෙන් වන අවසන් තීරණය හා අනුමැතිය ලබාදීමේ බලය ජාතික පොලිස් කොමිෂන් සභාව සතු වන අතර, මෙම නිර්දේශ පිළිබඳ සාකච්ඡා කර තීරණයක් ගැනීම සඳහා එම කොමිෂන් සභාව ලබන බ්‍රහස්පතින්දා රැස්වීමට නියමිතව තිබේ.

Senior Police Officials to be Transferred in Organizational Restructuring

The police headquarters has initiated immediate transfers among senior police officials based on service requirements. This restructuring aims to enhance operational efficiency within the force.

Sources within the police have disclosed that notable transfers will include Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police Ranmal Kodithuwakku, Deputy Inspector General Ashoka Dharmasena, and several officers from the Directorate for Drug Enforcement, among others.

In a recent inquiry, Senior Deputy Inspector General Ranmal Kodithuwakku confirmed that he has received information regarding his proposed transfer to the Uva Province.

To facilitate these transfers, the police headquarters has already submitted a recommendation letter to the National Police Commission for the necessary approvals.

The ultimate decision and authority regarding these transfers reside with the National Police Commission, which is scheduled to convene for discussions on this matter next Thursday.
