මහරගම අපේක්ෂා රෝහලේ නේවාසිකව ප්‍රතිකාර ලබන රෝගීන් වෙනුවෙන් අවශ්‍ය ඖෂධ හා ශල්‍ය උපකරණවල හිඟයක් පවතින බැවින්, කොලස්ටමි බෑග් (Colostomy Bags) ඇතුළු අත්‍යවශ්‍ය ද්‍රව්‍ය පරිත්‍යාග ලෙස ලබාදීම ඉතා වැදගත් බව වෛද්‍ය හා සිවිල් අයිතිවාසිකම් පිළිබඳ වෛද්‍යවරුන්ගේ වෘත්තීය සමිති සන්ධානයේ සභාපති, විශේෂඥ වෛද්‍ය චමල් සංජීව මහතා සඳහන් කරයි.

මේ අතර, රෝහලේ රෝගී ප්‍රතිකාර කටයුතු අඛණ්ඩව පවත්වාගෙන යාම සඳහා අවශ්‍ය ඖෂධ සහ ශල්‍ය පරිභෝජන ද්‍රව්‍ය කිහිපයක් කඩිනමින් පරිත්‍යාග කරන ලෙස අපේක්ෂා රෝහල් බලධාරීන් ද ඉල්ලීමක් කර තිබේ.

එම ඉල්ලීමට අනුව පරිත්‍යාග ලෙස අපේක්ෂා කරන ඖෂධ වර්ග මෙසේය:

•       Tigecycline 50mg එන්නත්
•       Methotrexate 500mg එන්නත්
•       Fluorouracil 1g එන්නත්
•       Methotrexate 2.5mg පෙති
•       Voriconazole 200mg පෙති
•       Chlorambucil 2mg කරල් (කැප්සියුල්)

මීට අමතරව, වැඩිහිටි රෝගීන් සඳහා භාවිත කරනු ලබන Colostomy Bags සහ Plates ද අත්‍යවශ්‍ය ශල්‍ය පරිභෝජන ද්‍රව්‍ය ලෙස පරිත්‍යාග කරන මෙන් දැනුම් දී ඇත.

පරිත්‍යාග ලබාදීමේදී අනුගමනය කළ යුතු කොන්දේසි පෙන්වා දෙන රෝහල් පාලනාධිකාරිය සඳහන් කරන්නේ, පරිත්‍යාග කරනු ලබන ඖෂධ ජාතික ඖෂධ නියාමන අධිකාරියේ (NMRA) අනුමැතිය ලත් ඒවා විය යුතු බවත්, එම ඖෂධ සඳහා වන මුල් ඉන්වොයිසි (Original Invoices) ද ඒ සමඟ ඉදිරිපත් කළ යුතු බවත්ය.

මෙම ඖෂධ සහ ශල්‍ය පරිභෝජන ද්‍රව්‍ය පරිත්‍යාග ලෙස භාරගැනීම සතියේ දිනවල පෙරවරු 8.00 සිට පස්වරු 4.00 දක්වාත්, සෙනසුරාදා දිනවල පෙරවරු 8.00 සිට දහවල් 12.00 දක්වාත් සිදු කෙරේ.

Essential Medical Supplies Needed at Maharagama Hospital

In light of a critical shortage of necessary medications and surgical equipment for inpatients at Maharagama Hospital, the President of the Medical Professionals’ Association, Dr. Chamal Sanjeewa, highlighted the urgent need for donations, particularly of colostomy bags and other essential medical supplies.

Hospital authorities have made a direct appeal for the prompt donation of various medicines and surgical consumables to ensure continuous medical treatment for patients at the facility.

The specific medicines requested include:

• Tigecycline 50mg injections
• Methotrexate 500mg injections
• Fluorouracil 1g injections
• Methotrexate 2.5mg tablets
• Voriconazole 200mg tablets
• Chlorambucil 2mg capsules

Additionally, colostomy bags and plates, essential for the treatment of elderly patients, have also been identified as critical supplies needed through donations.

The hospital administration has specified that any contributed medicines must be approved by the National Medicines Regulatory Authority (NMRA) and that original invoices for these items should accompany the donations.

Donations can be made on weekdays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
