අහුංගල්ල පොලිස් වසමට අයත් ගල්වෙහෙර ප්‍රදේශයේ නිවසක් තුළ සිටි පුද්ගලයෙකු ඉලක්ක කර අද (04) අලුයම සිදු කරන ලද වෙඩි තැබීමකින් ඔහු බරපතළ තුවාල ලබා රෝහල්ගත කර තිබේ.
මෙලෙස වෙඩි ප්‍රහාරයට ලක්ව ඇත්තේ ගල්වෙහෙර, අහුංගල්ල ප්‍රදේශයේ පදිංචි 74 හැවිරිදි වියැති පුද්ගලයෙකි.
වෙඩි වැදීමෙන් බරපතළ තුවාල ලැබූ එම පුද්ගලයා වහාම ප්‍රතිකාර සඳහා බලපිටිය රෝහල වෙත ඇතුළත් කර ඇති බව පොලිසිය පවසයි.
සිද්ධිය සම්බන්ධයෙන් පොලිසිය සිදු කළ මූලික විමර්ශනවලදී අනාවරණය වී ඇත්තේ, අදාළ පුද්ගලයා නිවසේ රැඳී සිටි අවස්ථාවේදී එහි ජනේලයක් තුළින් ගිනි අවිය යොමුකර මෙම වෙඩි තැබීම සිදු කර ඇති බවයි.
ප්‍රහාරය සඳහා පිස්තෝල වර්ගයේ ගිනි අවියක් භාවිත කරන්නට ඇතැයි පොලිසිය සැක පළ කරයි.
මෙම වෙඩි තැබීමට නිශ්චිත හේතුව මෙතෙක් අනාවරණය වී නොමැති අතර, සිද්ධියට සම්බන්ධ සැකකරුවන් හඳුනාගෙන අත්අඩංගුවට ගැනීම සඳහා අහුංගල්ල පොලිසිය වැඩිදුර විමර්ශන මෙහෙයවයි.
Shooting Incident Leaves 74-Year-Old Man Severely Injured in Ahungalla
A shooting in the Galwehera area of Ahungalla early this morning (April 4) has resulted in serious injuries to a 74-year-old man. He has been rushed to the hospital for treatment following the attack.
The victim, a resident of Galwehera, sustained critical wounds from the gunfire. Authorities confirmed that he was immediately admitted to Balapitiya Hospital for urgent medical attention.
Preliminary investigations by the police revealed that the attack occurred when the individual was inside his home. The assailant reportedly fired through a window, targeting the victim.
Police officials suspect that a pistol was used in the incident, although further details regarding the weapon have yet to be disclosed.
The exact motive behind the shooting remains unclear at this time. Ahungalla police are continuing their inquiry and are actively working to identify and apprehend the suspects involved in the case.
