චාමර සම්පත් අත්අඩංගුවට ගනී..

 හිටපු අමාත්‍යවරයෙකු මෙන්ම පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රීවරයෙකු වන චාමර සම්පත් දසනායක මහතා අල්ලස් හෝ දූෂණ චෝදනා විමර්ශන කොමිෂන් සභාවේ නිලධාරීන් විසින් අද (12) අත්අඩංගුවට ගෙන තිබේ.

එම කොමිෂන් සභාවේ නිලධාරීන් විසින් සිදු කරනු ලබන විමර්ශනයකට අදාළව ප්‍රකාශයක් ලබා දීම සඳහා පෙනී සිටින ලෙස කළ දැනුම් දීමකට අනුව, මන්ත්‍රීවරයා අද පෙරවරුවේ අල්ලස් හෝ දූෂණ චෝදනා විමර්ශන කොමිෂන් සභාව හමුවට පැමිණියේය.

එහිදී නිලධාරීන් විසින් ඔහුගෙන් ප්‍රකාශයක් සටහන් කරගැනීමෙන් අනතුරුව මෙලෙස අත්අඩංගුවට ගැනීමට පියවර ගෙන ඇති බව වාර්තා වේ.

අත්අඩංගුවට ගත් පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රී චාමර සම්පත් දසනායක මහතා අධිකරණය හමුවට ඉදිරිපත් කිරීමට නියමිතව ඇත.

Former Minister Chamara Sampath Dasanayake Arrested by Bribery Commission

Chamara Sampath Dasanayake, a former minister and current member of parliament, was apprehended today by officials from the Bribery or Corruption Investigation Commission.

His appearance at the commission earlier this morning was prompted by a request to provide a statement concerning ongoing inquiries into allegations of bribery and corruption.

Following the recording of his statement, the officials took immediate action, resulting in his arrest.

Dasanayake is expected to be presented before the court shortly as part of the legal proceedings initiated against him.
