බන්ධනාගාර නිලධාරීන්ගේ ආරක්ෂාව මධ්‍යයේ ඇය මෙලෙස අක්ෂි රෝහල වෙත රැගෙන විත් ඇති බව වාර්තා වේ.

ශිරන්ති රාජපක්ෂ මහත්මිය ලබන ඔක්තෝබර් මස 13 වැනිදා දක්වා රක්ෂිත බන්ධනාගාරගත කිරීමට කොළඹ ප්‍රධාන මහෙස්ත්‍රාත් අධිකරණය නියෝග කර ඇත්තේ විවාදාත්මක ‘සිරිලිය’ ගිණුම සම්බන්ධයෙන් සිදුකරනු ලබන විමර්ශනයකට අදාළව අල්ලස් හෝ දූෂණ චෝදනා විමර්ශන කොමිෂන් සභාව මගින් අත්අඩංගුවට ගෙන අධිකරණයට ඉදිරිපත් කිරීමෙන් පසුය.

Former First Lady Shiranthi Rajapaksa Hospitalized for Medical Evaluation

Shiranthi Rajapaksa, the former First Lady of Sri Lanka, has been transferred to the Colombo National Eye Hospital today, October 9, for a series of specialized medical examinations and treatments.

Reports indicate that she was escorted to the hospital under the supervision of prison officials, emphasizing the heightened security surrounding her transfer.

The former First Lady is currently under remand, as ordered by the Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court, until October 13. This remand is in connection with an ongoing investigation by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption regarding the contentious 'Siriliya' account, which has led to her arrest and subsequent court appearance.
