 රක්ෂිත බන්ධනාගාරගත කර සිටින හිටපු ජනාධිපති ආර්යා ශිරන්ති රාජපක්ෂ මහත්මිය වෛද්‍ය ප්‍රතිකාර සඳහා කොළඹ නවලෝක රෝහලට ඇතුළත් කරන ලෙසට අධිකරණයෙන් මෙතෙක් කිසිදු නියෝගයක් ලැබී නොමැති බව බන්ධනාගාර නිලධාරීන් කියති.

බන්ධනාගාර මාධ්‍ය ප්‍රකාශක සේනක පල්ලෙතැන්න මහතා ප්‍රකාශ කරන්නේ, බන්ධනාගාර රෝහලේ වෛද්‍යවරුන් වෙත ඇයව ඉදිරිපත් කිරීමෙන් අනතුරුව, ඉදිරි දිනයකදී ජාතික අක්ෂි රෝහල වෙත ඇයව යොමු කරන ලෙසට පමණක් මේ වන විට නිර්දේශ ලැබී ඇති බවයි.

ඒ අනුව ඇයව හෙට දිනයේදී ජාතික අක්ෂි රෝහල වෙත ඉදිරිපත් කරන බවත් මාධ්‍ය ප්‍රකාශකරවයා සඳහන් කළේය.

ශිරන්ති රාජපක්ෂ මහත්මියට මීට පෙර ප්‍රතිකාර කළ වෛද්‍යවරයා හමුවට ඉදිරිපත් කිරීම පිණිස ඇයව නවලෝක රෝහල වෙත යොමු කරන ලෙස කොළඹ අතිරේක මහේස්ත්‍රාත්වරිය බන්ධනාගාරයට නියෝග කළ බවට මාධ්‍ය රැසක් වාර්තා කර තිබිණි.

එහෙත් එවැනි නියෝගයක් තමන් වෙත ලැබී නොමැති බව බන්ධනාගාර කියයි.

ශිරන්ති රාජපක්ෂ මහත්මියව එළඹෙන 13 වනදා දක්වා රක්ෂිත බන්ධනාගාරගත කිරීමට නියෝග කර සිටී.

Former President Shiranthi Rajapaksa Awaiting Medical Transfer Amid Court Silence

Authorities have confirmed that no judicial orders have been issued regarding the transfer of former President Shiranthi Rajapaksa to Colombo's Nawaloka Hospital for medical treatment while she remains in custody. This revelation comes from prison officials who provided updates on her current status.

Sena Palletenna, the prison media spokesperson, noted that a recommendation has only been made to refer her to the National Eye Hospital following her evaluation by the prison doctors. He indicated that arrangements are in place to facilitate her transfer to the hospital tomorrow.

Reports suggest that the Additional Magistrate in Colombo had previously instructed the prison authorities to refer Rajapaksa to Nawaloka Hospital for further consultation with a physician who had previously treated her. However, prison officials have reiterated that no such order has been received.

Shiranthi Rajapaksa is scheduled to remain in custody until the 13th of this month, underscoring the ongoing legal proceedings surrounding her case.
