 අද දින ගනුදෙනු අවසානයේදී කොළඹ කොටස් වෙළෙඳපොළේ ප්‍රධාන දර්ශක යුගලයේම පහළ යෑමක් වාර්තා විය.

ඒ අනුව, සමස්ත වෙළෙඳපොළ ක්‍රියාකාරීත්වය නිරූපණය කරන සියලු කොටස් මිල දර්ශකය (ASPI) පෙර දිනයට සාපේක්ෂව ඒකක 168.38 කින් හෙවත් සියයට 0.81 කින් පහත වැටී ඒකක 20,644.26 ක් ලෙස සටහන් විය.

මීට අමතරව, වඩාත් සක්‍රීය සමාගම් 20 නියෝජනය වන එස් ඇන්ඩ් පී ශ්‍රී ලංකා 20 (S&P SL20) දර්ශකය ද දවස අවසානයේ ඒකක 36.48 කින් (සියයට 0.62 කින්) පහත වැටී ඒකක 5,847.02 ක් ලෙස සටහන් විය.

දර්ශකවල පහත වැටීමක් පෙන්නුම් කළ ද, දිනය පුරා වෙළෙඳපොළ තුළ සැලකිය යුතු මට්ටමේ ගනුදෙනු ප්‍රමාණයක් සිදු වූ අතර, දෛනික සමස්ත පිරිවැටුම රුපියල් 3,160,799,602.75 ක් (රුපියල් බිලියන 3.16 ඉක්මවා) ලෙස වාර්තා විය.

දිනය තුළ ගනුදෙනු 15,781 ක් සිදුව ඇති අතර, හුවමාරු වූ සමස්ත කොටස් ප්‍රමාණය 67,643,220 කි.

Colombo Stock Market Sees Decline at Closing

At the end of trading today, the Colombo Stock Exchange reported a downturn across its primary indices. The All Share Price Index (ASPI), which reflects overall market performance, fell by 168.38 points, or 0.81%, closing at 20,644.26.

In a similar trend, the S&P Sri Lanka 20 Index (S&P SL20), which tracks the 20 most active companies, also declined, dropping by 36.48 points, or 0.62%, to settle at 5,847.02.

Despite the downward movement of the indices, the market experienced significant trading activity, with the total turnover for the day reported at Rs. 3,160,799,602.75, surpassing Rs. 3.16 billion.

A total of 15,781 transactions took place during the day, with a cumulative volume of 67,643,220 shares traded.
