 ඉදිරි වසර හත හෝ අටක කාලසීමාව ඇතුළත මෙරට ජනතාවට ඩොලර් ආදායම් ගලාගෙන එන ශක්තිමත් ආර්ථික පසුබිමක් නිර්මාණය කරන බව නිවාස, ඉදිකිරීම් සහ ජල සම්පාදන නියෝජ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය ටී. බී. සරත් මහතා පවසයි.

පසුගිය කාලසීමාව තුළ මෙරට අධිවේගී මාර්ග ඇතුළු සංවර්ධන ව්‍යාපෘති සිදු කරනු ලැබුවේ විදෙස් රටවලින් ලබාගත් ණය මුදල් ආධාරයෙන් වුවද, ඉදිරියේදී එම ව්‍යාපෘති මෙරට මුදල් යොදවා නිම කිරීමට පියවර ගන්නා බව නියෝජ්‍ය අමාත්‍යවරයා සඳහන් කළේය.

ඒ අනුව, රඹුක්කන දක්වා වන අධිවේගී මාර්ග කොටස 2028 වසර අවසන් වීමට පෙර මෙරට මුදලින් නිම කිරීමට අපේක්ෂා කරන බවත්, 2029 වසර වන විට දඹුල්ල දක්වා දිවෙන අධිවේගී මාර්ගය ද දේශීය අරමුදල් භාවිතයෙන් ඉදිකර අවසන් කරන බවත් හෙතෙම වැඩිදුරටත් කියා සිටියේය.

එමෙන්ම, මෙරට මුදල් වංචා කළ පුද්ගලයන් අත්අඩංගුවට පත්වන විට දෑත ඔසවා මාංචු කුට්ටම පෙන්වමින් ජනතාව හමුවේ වීරයන් ලෙස පෙනී සිටීමට උත්සාහ දරන බව පෙන්වා දුන් නියෝජ්‍ය අමාත්‍යවරයා, ඔවුන් කිසිසේත්ම ජාතික වීරයන් නොවන බවත් පට්ටපල් හොරුන් බවත් අවධාරණය කළේය.

Strong Economic Foundations Expected to Generate Dollar Revenues for Sri Lankans in the Coming Years

The Deputy Minister of Housing, Construction and Water Supply, T.B. Sarath, has asserted that a robust economic backdrop will pave the way for substantial dollar inflows to the nation within the next seven to eight years.

He noted that past development projects, including expressways, were executed with the help of loans from foreign nations. However, he emphasized the government's commitment to fund the completion of these projects with local resources moving forward.

Sarath revealed that the stretch of the expressway leading to Rambukkana is expected to be completed with local funding before the end of 2028, and that the expressway extending to Dambulla will also be finalized using domestic funds by 2029.

Additionally, he highlighted the behavior of individuals involved in financial fraud, pointing out their attempts to pose as heroes before the public while flaunting their wealth. He firmly stated that these individuals are not national heroes but are instead akin to common thieves, emphasizing a need for accountability.
