විහාරමහාදේවී උද්‍යානයේ තියෙන්නේ පොහොට්ටු වැඩසටහන දේශපාලන සංදර්ශනයක්..

 ශ්‍රී ලංකා කම්කරු ජනතා පෙරමුණ විසින් විශේෂ මාධ්‍ය සාකච්ඡාවක්  හැටන් නගරයේදී පවත්වන ලදී.

එම මාධ්‍ය සාකච්ඡාවට ශ්‍රී ලංකා කම්කරු ජනතා පෙරමුණේ සභාපති චමීර පෙරේරා, ප්‍රධාන ලේකම් හා නෝවුඩ් ප්‍රාදේශීය සභා මන්ත්‍රී නොයෙල් ජනාස්තන් සහ ජාතික සංවිධායක මිලාන් පෙරේරා යන මහත්වරු සහභාගී වූහ.

එහිදී අදහස් දැක්වූ පක්ෂ සභාපති චමීර පෙරේරා මහතා ප්‍රකාශ කළේ, විහාරමහාදේවී උද්‍යානයේදී පැවැත්වෙන පොහොට්ටුවේ සහ රාජපක්ෂ කණ්ඩායමේ වැඩසටහන හුදෙක් දේශපාලන ව්‍යාපෘතියක් පමණක් බවයි. එම වැඩසටහනට කිසිදු බුද්ධ ශාසනික හෝ ධර්මානුකූල පදනමක් නොමැති බවත්, එය තවත් එක් දේශපාලන සංදර්ශනයක් පමණක් බවත් ඔහු චෝදනා කළේය.

මෙවැනි දේශපාලන ක්‍රියාකාරකම් සම්බන්ධයෙන් රජය දේශපාලනික වශයෙන් අවධානය යොමු කළ යුතු බව අවධාරණය කළ පෙරේරා මහතා, ඒවා වැළැක්වීමට අවශ්‍ය ක්‍රියාමාර්ග ගත යුතු බව ද සඳහන් කළේය. රට බංකොලොත්භාවයට පත් කිරීමට වගකිව යුතු පිරිස් විසින් සිදුකරනු ලබන මෙවැනි ක්‍රියාකාරකම් මහජනතාව විසින් දැනටමත් පසෙකලා ඇති බව ද ඔහු පැවසීය.

බුදුදහම යනු සියලු සත්වයන් කෙරෙහි මෛත්‍රිය, කරුණාව සහ අහිංසාව පතුරුවන දර්ශනයක් බව පෙන්වා දුන් සභාපතිවරයා, බුදුපිළිම ඉදිරියේ තොවිල් නැටීම, ශාප කිරීම් සහ වෛරී චේතනාවෙන් සිදුකරන ක්‍රියාකාරකම් බුදුදහමේ මූලික ප්‍රතිපත්තිවලට පටහැනි බව ද වැඩිදුරටත් ප්‍රකාශ කළේය.

Labour Party Raises Concerns Over Political Projects in Sri Lanka

A special media discussion organized by the Sri Lanka Labour People's Front took place in the town of Hatton, attracting key figures from the party.

Among the attendees were Chairman Chamira Perera, General Secretary and Nuwara Eliya municipal council member Noyel Janasthan, as well as National Organizer Milan Perera.

During the event, Chamira Perera expressed critical views on the political initiatives carried out by the Pohottuwa party and the Rajapaksa faction at the Viharamahadevi Park. He labeled these efforts as mere political projects devoid of any institutional or ethical foundation, asserting that they represent another instance of political posturing.

Perera emphasized the necessity for the government to adopt a politically aware approach to such activities, stressing that prompt measures are required to prevent them. He pointed out that the public has already observed the detrimental effects of actions taken by parties accountable for the nation's economic collapse.

The Chairman also highlighted that Buddhism promotes compassion, kindness, and non-violence towards all sentient beings. He condemned acts of aggression, curses, and animosity, saying they are fundamentally incongruent with the core principles of Buddhist teachings.
