ඇමති වසන්ත කටාර්හිදී 'Doha news' සමග

 2022 වසරේ ඇති වූ ආර්ථික බිඳවැටීමෙන් පසු ශ්‍රී ලංකාව මේ වන විට යළි ශක්තිමත්ව නැගී සිටිමින් දේශපාලන හා ආර්ථික ස්ථාවරත්වය තහවුරු කරගෙන ඇති බැවින්, මෙරට සංචාරක, කාර්මික සහ සේවා ක්ෂේත්‍රයන්හි පවතින සුවිශේෂී ආයෝජන අවස්ථාවන් සමඟ එක්වන ලෙස කටාර් රාජ්‍යය ඇතුළු ජාත්‍යන්තර ආයෝජකයන්ට විවෘත ආරාධනයක් කළ බව ‘ඩෝහා නිව්ස්’ පුවත් සේවය වාර්තා කරයි.

කටාර් රාජ්‍යයේ ඩෝහා අගනුවර පැවැත්වෙන 9 වැනි ලෝක ආයෝජන සමුළුවට (World Investment Forum) සහභාගී වෙමින්, ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ වෙළෙඳ, වාණිජ, ආහාර සුරක්ෂිතතා සහ සමුපකාර සංවර්ධන අමාත්‍ය වසන්ත සමරසිංහ මහතා ඩෝහා නිව්ස් වෙත මෙම අදහස් පළ කර තිබේ.

"ශ්‍රී ලංකාවට පැමිණීමට මෙය කදිම අවස්ථාවයි," යනුවෙන් ප්‍රකාශ කළ අමාත්‍යවරයා, ලොව ඕනෑම රටක ආයෝජනයක් සිදුකිරීමේදී ආයෝජකයන් මූලිකවම අපේක්ෂා කරන ආර්ථික සහ දේශපාලන ස්ථාවරත්වය වත්මන් ශක්තිමත් රජය යටතේ මෙරට තුළ උපරිමයෙන් ස්ථාපිත කර ඇති බව අවධාරණය කළේය. 

එබැවින් කටාර් ආයෝජන අරමුදල්, එරට රාජ්‍ය ආයතන මෙන්ම පුද්ගලික ව්‍යාපාරික ප්‍රජාවටද ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ ආයෝජන විභවයන් කෙරෙහි අවධානය යොමුකරන ලෙස ඔහු ඉල්ලා සිටියේය.

වසර 15කට පසුව ලබන 2027 වසරේ ජනවාරි මස 14 වැනිදා සිට 17 වැනිදා දක්වා ‘ශ්‍රී ලංකා එක්ස්පෝ’ (Sri Lanka Expo) දැවැන්ත ප්‍රදර්ශනය සහ ඊට සමගාමීව විශේෂ ආයෝජන සංසදය (Investment Forum) ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේදී පැවැත්වීමට සැලසුම් කර ඇති බව මෙහිදී අනාවරණය කළ අමාත්‍යවරයා, ඊට එක්වී ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ ආයෝජන අවස්ථා ගවේෂණය කරන ලෙස ලොව පුරා විසිරී සිටින ව්‍යාපාරික ප්‍රජාවට ඇරයුම් කළේය.

කටාර් රාජ්‍යය තුළ හෝටල් ක්ෂේත්‍රයේ, වෘත්තීය මට්ටමේ සහ විවිධ සේවා ක්ෂේත්‍රයන්හි නියුතු 150,000කට අධික ශ්‍රී ලාංකික ශ්‍රමික ප්‍රජාවක් සේවය කරන බව සිහිපත් කළ වසන්ත සමරසිංහ මහතා, ඔවුන් දෙරට අතර පවතින සබඳතාව ශක්තිමත් කරන සජීවී පාලමක් බඳු බවද පෙන්වා දුන්නේය.

Sri Lanka Invites International Investment at World Investment Forum in Doha

In the wake of an economic collapse in 2022, Sri Lanka is now reaffirming its political and economic stability as it invites international investors, including from Qatar, to explore unique opportunities in tourism, industry, and services. This invitation was reported by Doha News during the ongoing World Investment Forum in Doha.

Expressing his views at the event, Wasantha Samarasinghe, Sri Lanka's Minister of Trade, Commerce, Food Security, and Development, emphasized the favorable environment for investment in the country. He noted that under the current strong government, Sri Lanka offers a solid foundation of economic and political stability, which investors prioritize when considering investments.

Minister Samarasinghe urged Qatari investment funds, government institutions, and the private business community to focus on investment prospects in Sri Lanka.

He also announced plans for the ‘Sri Lanka Expo,’ a massive trade exhibition accompanied by a special investment forum, scheduled to take place from January 14 to 17, 2027, in Sri Lanka. He encouraged the global business community to participate and explore the investment opportunities available in the country.

Highlighting the robust ties between the two nations, he pointed out that over 150,000 Sri Lankan workers are employed within Qatar’s hospitality and professional service sectors, signifying a dynamic partnership that strengthens bilateral relations.
