The distribution of appointment letters for 2,819 graduates from the three-year Higher Diploma nursing program, which falls under the Ministry of Health and Media, took place at the Presidential Secretariat, chaired by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
These newly appointed nursing officials successfully completed their studies at 16 nursing schools across the country, following a focus on the Science and Mathematics streams of the Advanced Level examinations in 2019 and 2020.
