විපක්ෂය කෙසේ කීවද රටේ බහුතර ජනතාවක් සිටින්නේ ජනාධිපති අනුර කුමාර දිසානායක මහතා සහ රජය සමග බව වැවිලි සහ ප්‍රජා යටිතල පහසුකම් නියෝජ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය සුන්දරලිංගම් ප්‍රදීප් මහතා පැවසීය.

සුන්දරලිංගම් ප්‍රදීප් මහතා ඒ බැව් කියා සිටියේ, (26) දින හැටන් නගරයේ පැවති උත්සවයකට එක් වෙමින් මාධ්‍යට විශේෂ ප්‍රකාශයක් කරමිනි.

Opposition Acknowledges Support for President and Government

In a striking declaration, Government Parliamentary Secretary Sundaralingam Pradeep emphasized that a significant majority of the citizens are rallying behind President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and his administration. He made these comments during a media briefing at a festival in Hettanagoda on the 26th.

During the event, Pradeep elaborated on the current political landscape, pointing out that the opposition is evidently in disarray following the recent no-confidence motion brought to Parliament. He articulated that the onus lies on the opposition leader to establish a robust alternative to the government, rather than conspiring to overthrow it.

Sundaralingam Pradeep underscored that the present political climate is inundated with factions that are embroiled in corruption scandals and are entangled in legal disputes, thereby leaving the opposition vulnerable.
