එම වතුයායේ පැළ තවානේ සිට තේ කර්මාන්තශාලාව දක්වා දර ප්‍රවාහනය කරමින් තිබියදී ට්‍රැක්ටර් රථයේ එන්ජිම සහ ටේලර් රථය සම්බන්ධවන ස්ථානයේ කැඩී යෑමෙන් ට්‍රැක්ටර් රථය රියදුරුගේ පාලනයෙන් මිදි තේ වත්තට පෙරලී මෙම අනතුර සිදු වී ඇති බවයි එම වතුයායේ පාලන අධිකාරියේ නිළධාරියෙකු කියා සිටියේ.

අනතුරින් තුවාල ලබා බගවන්තලාව ප්‍රාදේශීය රෝහල වෙත ඇතුලත් කල රියදුරු වැඩිදුර ප්‍රථිකාර සදහා දික්ඔය මූලික රෝහල වෙත මාරු කර යවන බව බගවන්තලාව රෝහලේ දිස්ත්‍රික් වෛද්‍ය නිළධාරිවරයා පැවසීය.

Tragic Accident Involves Tea Transport Tractor in Bagawantalawa

A tractor transporting tea from a plantation to a processing facility in Bagawantalawa veered off the road and met with an accident, resulting in injuries to the driver. The incident occurred on the 12th, as reported by local police authorities.

The tractor, while ferrying tea leaves, experienced a mechanical failure at the junction where the tractor and trailer are connected, causing it to topple over and escape the driver's control, according to an official from the estate's management.

The injured driver was initially taken to the local hospital in Bagawantalawa for treatment. However, for further medical attention, he was subsequently transferred to the Dikkawella Base Hospital, as confirmed by the district medical officer at the Bagawantalawa hospital.
