ඒ වගේම තමයි මහජනතාවගේ ආර්ථිකය හා ස්වයං රැකියා අවස්ථා නංවන්නටත් අප කටයුතු කරල තිබෙනවා ,

එවන් පසුබිමක ජාතක දේශපාලනයට දායක වෙන්න තියෙන මොහොතක නොර එළි දෙසින්ගේ තරුණ පරපුරකට බාර දිය යුතු කාලසීමාවක අද පටන් වලපනේ වගකීම අපි හිත රත්නායක තරුණ නායකත්වයට පාර දෙනවා ,

මෙම තරුණ නායකත්වය එක්ක ඉදිරි දේශපාලන ගමන යන්න වලපනේ වගේම නුවරඑළිය දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ ජනතාවට ගෞරවයෙන් ආරාධනා කරනවා ,

ආරම්භයේ ඉදලා දැන් වෙනකන් බොරු විතරක් වර්තමාන ආන්ඩුවට පාඩම් උගන්වන්න නුවරඑළිය ජනතාව ලෑස්තියි ,

අද අපි පැරදිලා හිටියත් හෙට අපි දිනනවා ඒ ගමනට තමයි අභීත රත්නායකව නුවරඑළිය ජනතාවට භාර දෙන්නේ ,

ඉන් අනතුරුව සභාව ඇමතු ශ්‍රී ලංකා පොදුජන පෙර්මුණේ වලපනේ නව ආසන සංවිධායක අභීත රත්නායක මහතා අදහස් දක්වමින් කියා සිටියේ නූතන පරම්පරාවට ගැලපෙන දේශපාලනයක් නාමල් රාජපක්ෂ මැතිතුමත් සබඳතාව සිදු කිරීමට අපේක්ෂා කරන බැවින් එම ගමනට සිය පියාට ලබා දුන් සහයෝගයට සමාන සහයෝගයක් ලබා දෙන්නට නුවරඑළිය ජනතාවට ආරාධනා කරන බවයි ,

කරපුරුද්ද පලපුරුද්ද නැති රජයෙන් පස්සේ නව රජයේ පාර ගන්න අප සූදානම් ,

ඉන් පසුව නව සංවිධායක වරයාට සුභ පැතුම් එකතු කරමින් බදුල්ල දිස්තික් නායක දේනුක විදානපතිරන , රත්නපුර දිස්ත්‍රික් නායක ජානක වක්කුබුර , ගම්පහ දිස්ත්‍රික් නායක ඉන්දික අනුරුද්ධ යන හිටපු පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රීවර්න් සභාව ආමන්ත්‍රණය කල අතර වත්මන් රජයේ වැරදි අඩුපාඩු පිළිබදවද අදහස් දැක්වීය .

Abhitha Ratnayake Appointed as New Electoral Organizer for Welapane

The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna has witnessed recent organizational changes, with Abhitha Ratnayake being appointed as the new electoral organizer for the Welapane constituency in the Nuwara Eliya district. This significant announcement was made during a ceremonial event attended by key figures including the party's Badulla District Leader, Denuka Vidhanapathirana, Ratnapura District Leader Janaka Wakkubura, and former ministers from the Gampaha District, under the leadership of senior party member C.B. Ratnayake.

During the meeting, Ratnayake highlighted the critical role he is set to play in bolstering support for Namal Rajapaksa ahead of the forthcoming presidential election. According to Ratnayake, the gathering was organized to ensure that the Nuwara Eliya region would provide robust backing for Rajapaksa in light of what he described as the promising trend indicated by various opinion polls.

C.B. Ratnayake also spoke on the party's prior challenges, particularly mentioning the time the party fell short of securing two hundred thousand votes. He confirmed that the campaign for Namal Rajapaksa's presidency would kick-off from Nuwara Eliya, marking a strategic initiative to revitalize their political base in the area.

The former minister emphasized that his connection to the region remains strong. "Even after my travels, I am still the leader of Nuwara Eliya district," he asserted. He reminisced about his early days in politics, which began in the town of Welapane, emphasizing the commitments he made then and continues to uphold today.

Amidst ongoing development efforts in the region, Ratnayake illustrated the progress made in Welapane, highlighting how the infrastructure, including electricity and educational levels, has seen remarkable improvement since his initial political engagements.

Additionally, he remarked on ongoing efforts to enhance the local economy and create job opportunities for residents. Underlining a renewed commitment to youth leadership, Ratnayake called for a responsible approach from the younger generation of politicians, which he believes is paramount during this transformative period in Sri Lankan politics.

He asserted that with a new youthful leadership and the support of the Nuwara Eliya people, they aim to initiate a significant political journey together. "It is time to build a new narrative and offer genuine lessons learned from past experiences," he stated, asserting confidence in their collective success.

He concluded by encouraging the citizens of Nuwara Eliya to rally behind Namal Rajapaksa, urging them to provide the same level of support given to his father during his political journey.
