 කලක් සිරිකොත සහ ඩාලි පාර කේන්ද්‍ර කරගනිමින් මෙරට පාලන බලය මෙහෙයවූ යුගය අවසන් වී, දැන් එම බලය පැලවත්ත වෙත හිමිව ඇති බව අමාත්‍ය බිමල් රත්නායක මහතා පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේදී ප්‍රකාශ කළේය.

පාර්ලිමේන්තුව අමතමින් අමාත්‍යවරයා පෙන්වා දුන්නේ මීට පෙර සිරිකොතෙන් හෝ ඩාලි පාරෙන් රට පාලනය වන විට කිසිවෙකුටත් ඒ පිළිබඳ ගැටලුවක් නොවූ බවයි.

දේශපාලන පක්ෂයකට බලය හිමිවන්නේ ජනතාව ලබා දෙන ජනවරම මත බවත්, ජනතා විමුක්ති පෙරමුණ සහ ජාතික ජන බලවේගය සිය දේශපාලන සැලසුම් සකස් කරමින් මෙම මහජන ව්‍යාපාරය ගොඩනැගුවේ පැලවත්ත කේන්ද්‍ර කරගනිමින් බවත් ඔහු සිහිපත් කළේය.

"දේශපාලන පක්ෂයකටයි බලය හම්බවෙන්නේ. මිනිස්සු ඡන්දය දෙන්නේ පක්ෂයකට. ඊට පස්සේ තමයි ඒක ආණ්ඩුවක් වෙන්නේ. කලින් සිරිකොතෙන් පාලනය වුණා, ඩාලි පාරෙන් පාලනය වුණා. දැන් පැලවත්තට තමයි ඒ බලය හම්බවෙලා තියෙන්නේ. සියලු සැලසුම් හැදුණේ, මේ ව්‍යාපාරය ගොඩනැගුණේ එතැනයි," යනුවෙන් අමාත්‍යවරයා වැඩිදුරටත් සඳහන් කළේය.

2019 සහ 2020 වසරවලදී ජනතාව පොදුජන පෙරමුණට බලය ලබා දුන් ආකාරයටම, මෙවර ජනතාව සිය විශ්වාසය පැලවත්ත කේන්ද්‍ර කරගත් දේශපාලන ප්‍රවාහය වෙත ලබා දී ඇති බව අමාත්‍යවරයා මෙහිදී අවධාරණය කළේය.

Power Shift: Minister Bimal Ratnayake Praises Transition to Pelawatta Leadership

Minister Bimal Ratnayake declared in Parliament that the era dominated by the leadership operating from Siri Kotha and Dali Mawatha has come to an end, with power now firmly resting in Pelawatta.

He emphasized that during the previous period of governance from Siri Kotha and Dali Mawatha, there were no objections raised by anyone regarding the administration of the country.

Highlighting the fundamental principle of democratic governance, he noted that authority is granted to political parties based on the will of the people. He reflected on how the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna and the National People’s Power have been formulating their political strategies around this movement, with Pelawatta as their focal point.

"Political power is bestowed upon parties by the people through their votes. It is only after this that it transforms into a government. Previously, the country was managed from Siri Kotha and Dali Mawatha. Now, the power is rooted in Pelawatta. All plans were crafted there, and this movement took shape," the minister elaborated further.

Stressing the continuity of trust, Ratnayake remarked that just as the populace supported the United People’s Freedom Alliance in 2019 and 2020, they have now placed their confidence in the political movement centered around Pelawatta.
