ලබන 5 වැනිදා සිට රජය විසින් සංවිධානය කරනු ලබන රැස්වීම් මාලාව ජනතාව මුළා කරන පච රැස්වීම් මාලාවක් බව පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රී දයාසිරි ජයසේකර මහතා පවසයි.

කොළඹදී පැවැති මාධ්‍ය හමුවකට එක්වෙමින් ඒ මහතා මේ බව සඳහන් කළේය.

මන්ත්‍රීවරයා එහිදී වැඩිදුරටත් පෙන්වා දුන්නේ වත්මන් රජය බලයට පත්වූයේම අසත්‍ය ප්‍රචාර පතුරුවමින් බවත්, එම ක්‍රියාවලිය හේතුවෙන් අද වන විට රට දැවැන්ත විනාශයක් කරා ගමන් කරමින් පවතින බවත්ය.

මෙහිදී රජයේ මූල්‍ය කළමනාකරණය පිළිබඳව දැඩි විවේචනයක් එල්ල කළ දයාසිරි ජයසේකර මහතා, සුළි කුණාටුවෙන් පීඩාවට පත් ජනතාව වෙනුවෙන් වෙන් කළ මුදල්වලින් සියයට 70ක් පමණ තවමත් වියදම් කර නොමැති බව අනාවරණය කළේය.

මෙරට ජනතාව මෙවැනි දුෂ්කරතාවලට මුහුණ දී සිටියදී, රජය විසින් නේපාලයේ ඇති වූ අර්බුදකාරී තත්ත්වය වෙනුවෙන් ඇමරිකානු ඩොලර් මිලියනයක මුදලක් පරිත්‍යාග කිරීමට පියවර ගැනීම හාස්‍යයට කරුණක් බවද ඔහු වැඩිදුරටත් පැවසීය.

දේශීය අවශ්‍යතා මගහරිමින් ජාත්‍යන්තරයට ප්‍රදර්ශනය වීම සඳහා රජය මෙවැනි තීරණ ගන්නා බවත්, ඉදිරියේදී පැවැත්වීමට නියමිත රැස්වීම් මාලාව හරහා යළිත් වරක් ජනතාව මුළා කිරීමට රජය උත්සාහ දරන බවත් මන්ත්‍රීවරයා අවධාරණය කළේය.

MP Dayasiri Jayasekara Criticizes Government’s Upcoming Events as a Deceptive Strategy

As the government prepares to launch a series of public events starting on the 5th of this month, MP Dayasiri Jayasekara has labeled these gatherings as a mere distraction for the populace.

Speaking at a media briefing held in Colombo, Jayasekara emphasized that the current government came to power through the dissemination of false propaganda, leading the country towards significant turmoil today.

The MP also voiced strong concerns regarding the government's financial management, revealing that approximately 70% of the funds allocated for aiding those affected by the recent cyclone have yet to be utilized. This raises questions about the government’s responsiveness to the needs of its citizens during such crises.

He further critiqued the government's decision to donate one million US dollars to address the humanitarian crisis in Nepal, branding it as laughable, especially while the Sri Lankan people are grappling with local hardships.

Jayasekara accused the government of prioritizing international image over local necessities, claiming that these upcoming events are an attempt to further hoodwink the public. He asserted that the authorities are trying to divert attention from their failures while continuing to neglect the pressing issues faced by the population.
