විනිසුරු ධුර 07ක් පුරප්පාඩුයි..: මං දන්නෑ ජනාධිපති කාර්යාලයෙන් අහන්නැයි අධිකරණ ඇමති කියයි..

 ශ්‍රේෂ්ඨාධිකරණයේ සහ අභියාචනාධිකරණයේ පවතින සෙසු විනිසුරු පුරප්පාඩු හත සඳහා මෙතෙක් කිසිදු නිර්දේශයක් ආණ්ඩුක්‍රම ව්‍යවස්ථා සභාව වෙත ලැබී නොමැති බව පාර්ලිමේන්තු ආරංචි මාර්ග සඳහන් කරයි.

මේ පිළිබඳව අධිකරණ සහ ජාතික ඒකාබද්ධතා අමාත්‍ය නීතිඥ හර්ෂණ නානායක්කාර මහතා ප්‍රකාශ කළේ, මෙම පත්කිරීම් සිදුකිරීම ජනාධිපති කාර්යාලය මගින් මෙහෙයවනු ලබන කටයුත්තක් බැවින් ඒ පිළිබඳව තොරතුරු එම කාර්යාලයෙන් විමසන ලෙසයි.

තමා ඒ පිළිබඳව කිසිවක් නොදන්නා බවද අමාත්‍යවරයා වැඩිදුරටත් සඳහන් කළේය.

කෙසේ වෙතත්, අභියාචනාධිකරණ විනිසුරුවරියක ලෙස පත්කිරීම සඳහා ජනාධිපතිවරයා විසින් නිර්දේශ කරන ලද සජීවනී දිල්කා ලක්මාලි කරුණානායක මෙනවියට ආණ්ඩුක්‍රම ව්‍යවස්ථා සභාවේ අනුමැතිය පසුගියදා හිමි විය. ඒ අනුව ජනාධිපතිවරයා විසින් ඇයව අභියාචනාධිකරණ විනිසුරුවරියක ලෙස පත් කරනු ලැබීය.

අදාළ පුරප්පාඩුව සඳහා නම් තුනක් ජනාධිපතිවරයා වෙත යොමු කර තිබුණද, ඔහු විසින් නිර්දේශ කර තිබුණේ කරුණානායක මෙනවියගේ නම පමණක් බව වාර්තා වේ.

මෙම විනිසුරු පුරප්පාඩු සම්බන්ධයෙන් පසුගියදා පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේදී ද දීර්ඝ වශයෙන් සාකච්ඡාවට බඳුන් විය. මෙහි ඇති විශේෂත්වය වන්නේ පවතින පුරප්පාඩුවලින් සමහරක් මාස හයකට වැඩි කාලයක් තිස්සේ පිරවීමකින් තොරව පැවතීමයි.

Vacancies in Supreme Court and Appeal Court Remain Unaddressed: Minister Weighs In

Reports from parliamentary channels indicate that the Constitutional Council has yet to receive any recommendations regarding the existing vacancies of seven judges in the Supreme Court and Appeal Court.

In response to inquiries, Minister of Justice and National Integration, Attorney-at-Law Harshana Rajakaruna highlighted that the responsibility for these appointments lies with the President's Office. He suggested that any relevant information should be sought directly from that office.

Moreover, the Minister acknowledged his lack of knowledge on the specifics of the situation.

Recently, however, the President has appointed Jayanthi Dilka Lakmanika Karunaratne as an appeal court judge following the Constitutional Council's approval of her nomination. This indicates that some movement is taking place regarding judicial appointments.

It has been reported that, while three names were submitted to the President for consideration, only Karunaratne's name was put forward for nomination.

The matter of these judicial vacancies was extensively discussed in Parliament recently, drawing attention to the concerning fact that several of these positions have remained unfilled for over six months.
