 දිවයින පුරා වාර්තා වී ඇති සමස්ත ඩෙංගු ආසාදිතයන්ගේ සංඛ්‍යාව එක් ලක්ෂයේ කඩඉම අද (28) දිනයේදී පසුකර ගිය බව සෞඛ්‍ය අංශ තහවුරු කරයි.

බස්නාහිර පළාත් වැඩබලන නියෝජ්‍ය සෞඛ්‍ය සේවා අධ්‍යක්ෂ, විශේෂඥ වෛද්‍ය නවින්ද සොයිසා මහතා සඳහන් කළේ අද දිනයේදී වාර්තා වූ ආසාදිතයාත් සමඟ මෙරට ඩෙංගු රෝගීන් ලක්ෂය ඉක්මවූ බවයි.

දෛනිකව වාර්තා වන රෝගීන්ගේ සංඛ්‍යාවේ යම් සුළු පහත වැටීමක් දක්නට ලැබුණද, දිවයිනේ පළාත් 07ක් තවදුරටත් පවතින්නේ අධි අවදානම් මට්ටමක බව ඒ මහතා අවධාරණය කළේය.

ඩෙංගු ව්‍යාප්තිය පාලනය කිරීම වෙනුවෙන් සෞඛ්‍ය අංශ ලබා දී ඇති උපදෙස් නිසි පරිදි පිළිපදිමින්, මදුරුවන් බෝවන ස්ථාන විනාශ කර රෝග මර්දන වැඩපිළිවෙළට උපරිම සහයෝගය ලබා දෙන ලෙස විශේෂඥ වෛද්‍යවරයා මහජනතාවගෙන් වැඩිදුරටත් ඉල්ලා සිටියි.

Sri Lanka Surpasses 100,000 Dengue Cases Amid Continued Health Concerns

The total number of dengue cases reported across Sri Lanka has surpassed one hundred thousand as of today, October 28, according to health authorities.

Dr. Navinda Soysa, the Deputy Director of Health Services for the Western Province, confirmed that the cumulative number of dengue patients has crossed the 100,000 mark, with the latest figures showing a significant spike in reported cases.

While a slight decline in daily reported cases has been noted, Dr. Soysa emphasized that seven provinces across the country still remain at high risk levels for dengue outbreak.

In light of these alarming figures, health officials urge the public to adhere strictly to provided guidelines for dengue control, which include eliminating mosquito breeding sites and supporting health initiatives aimed at curbing the spread of the disease.
