 රාජකාරි වේලාව තුළ ඇතිවූ බහින්බස්වීමක් දුරදිග ගොස් එකිනෙකාට පහරදී තුවාල ලැබූ මරදාන පොලිස් ස්ථානයට අනුයුක්ත පොලිස් කොස්තාපල්වරුන් දෙදෙනෙකු කොළඹ ජාතික රෝහලට ඇතුළත් කර තිබේ.

මෙසේ රෝහල්ගත කර ඇත්තේ මරදාන පොලිසියේ දිවා වැඩ ඒකකයේ රාජකාරි කරමින් සිටි නිලධාරීන් දෙදෙනෙකි.

දෙපාර්ශ්වය අතර හටගත් ආරවුලක් මත සිදුවූ පහරදීමෙන් ශරීරයේ තැලීම් සහ සීරීම් තුවාල සිදුවීම හේතුවෙන් ඔවුන් මෙලෙස රෝහල්ගත කර ඇත.

අනතුරුව අදාළ නිලධාරීන් අධිකරණ වෛද්‍යවරයා හමුවට ඉදිරිපත් කර ඇති අතර, එහිදී එක් කොස්තාපල්වරයකුගේ මුඛයෙන් මත්පැන් ගඳ වහනය වන බවට අනාවරණය වී ඇතැයි පොලීසිය සඳහන් කරයි.

රෝහල්ගත කළ නිලධාරීන් අතුරින් එක් අයෙකු ප්‍රතිකාර ලබා ගැනීමෙන් අනතුරුව රෝහලෙන් පිටව ගොස් තිබේ.

Two Police Officers Admitted to Hospital After Brawl in Maharagama

In a disturbing incident that unfolded during their duty hours, two police constables attached to the Maharagama police station have been admitted to the Colombo National Hospital following a brawl that escalated into physical violence.

The officers, who were on duty with the daytime operations unit, sustained injuries including bruises and abrasions as a result of the altercation.

It has been reported that the conflict arose between two parties, culminating in the assault that led to their hospitalization. After receiving treatment, one of the constables has since been discharged from the hospital.

Authorities have indicated that a judicial medical officer has since examined the injured officers, revealing that one constable exhibited the smell of alcohol on his breath, raising concerns about the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Further investigations into the incident are currently underway as officials seek to clarify the events that transpired.
