ඩොලර් බිලියනයක් රටින් පන්නලා.. රට පුරා අලුත් පච කියමින් යනවා..

වත්මන් ආණ්ඩුව වසර දෙකක් පුරා ජනතාවට ලබා දුන් පොරොන්දු කිසිවක් ඉටු නොකර, අලුත් බොරු පොරොන්දු දෙමින් රට පුරා සැරිසරන බවත්, රට තුළ සිදුවන බරපතළ වංචා දූෂණ සහ ජනතා පීඩාවන් හමුවේ ජනාධිපතිවරයා ඇස් කන් පියාගෙන සිටින බවත් ශ්‍රී ලංකා පොදුජන පෙරමුණේ පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රී නාමල් රාජපක්ෂ මහතා පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේදී ප්‍රකාශ කළේය.

පාර්ලිමේන්තුව අමතමින් අදහස් දැක්වූ මන්ත්‍රීවරයා කියා සිටියේ, මැතිවරණ සමයේදී උපාධිධාරීන් 35,000කට එකවර රැකියා ලබා දෙන බවට ගෙයින් ගෙට ගොස් පොරොන්දු දුන්නද, අද වන විට රටේ උගතුන්ගෙන් සියයට 43කට රැකියා නොමැති බව ජාත්‍යන්තර මූල්‍ය අරමුදලේ වාර්තා පවා පෙන්වා දෙන බවයි.

දකුණු ආසියාවේ උග්‍රතම විරැකියාව පවතින රට බවට ලංකාව පත්වෙමින් තිබියදී, ආණ්ඩුව ලබා ගත් ජයග්‍රහණ ගැන උදම් අනමින් සිටීම විහිළුවක් බවද හෙතෙම සඳහන් කළේය.

ආණ්ඩුව බලයට පත්වන විට පැවති සියයට 5.3ක ආර්ථික වර්ධන වේගය මේ වන විට සියයට 4.1 දක්වා පහත වැටී ඇති අතර, උද්ධමනය සියයට 8.1ක් දක්වා ඉහළ ගොස් ආර්ථිකය කඩා වැටී ඇති බවත් ඔහු පෙන්වා දුන්නේය.

රටේ සිදුවන මහා පරිමාණ දූෂණ ක්‍රියා හමුවේ ජනාධිපතිවරයා මුණිවත රකින බවට චෝදනා කළ නාමල් රාජපක්ෂ මහතා, වරායෙන් බහාලුම් 323ක් මුදාහැරීමේ සිද්ධියට වගකිවයුතු පුද්ගලයන් නිදැල්ලේ සිටින බවත්, අමාත්‍යාංශයේ මුදල් ලේකම්වරයා වැරදි ගිණුමකට ඩොලර් මිලියන 2.5ක් බැර කර තිබියදී ඒ සම්බන්ධයෙන් කිසිදු පියවරක් ගෙන නොමැති බවත් පැවසීය.

එමෙන්ම 2025 සහ 2026 වසර දෙක තුළ කළු කඩ මාර්කට් එක හරහා ඩොලර් බිලියනයකට අධික මුදලක් රටින් පිටව ගොස් ඇතැයිද ඔහු චෝදනා කළේය.

ගල් අඟුරු ආනයනය සම්බන්ධයෙන් ද රජය දැඩි විවේචනයට ලක් කළ මන්ත්‍රීවරයා, ආනයනය කළ ගල් අඟුරු නැව් 19ම බාල තත්ත්වයේ ඒවා බවත්, ගල් අඟුරු මෙට්‍රික් ටොන් 120,000ක් අතුරුදන්ව ඇති බවත් පෙන්වා දුන්නේය. හදිසි මිලදී ගැනීම් යටතේ ගෙනා නැව් 6න් දෙකක්ම බාල තත්ත්වයේ පැවති අතර, ඉන් එකක් හරවා යවා අනෙකෙන් ගොඩබෑම සිදුකර ඇත්තේ කාගේ වුවමනාවටදැයි හෙතෙම ප්‍රශ්න කළේය.

මීට අමතරව, 'ඩිට්වා' සුළි කුණාටුවෙන් විපතට පත් ජනතාවට නිවාස සහ ඉඩම් සඳහා පොරොන්දු වූ වන්දි මුදල් මෙතෙක් ලබා දී නොමැති බවත්, ගොවීන්ගෙන් මිලදී ගත් වී සඳහා මුදල් නොගෙවීම සහ පොහොර නිසි වේලාවට නොලැබීම හේතුවෙන් කෘෂිකර්මාන්තය අඩාල වී ඇති බවත් ඔහු සඳහන් කළේය.

එබැවින් තවදුරටත් ජනතාව මුළා කරමින් නව පොරොන්දු දේශපාලනයක නිරත නොවී, මීට පෙර දුන් පොරොන්දු ඉටු කර ජනතා ගැටලුවලට සැබෑ විසඳුම් ලබා දීමට පියවර ගන්නා ලෙස මන්ත්‍රීවරයා රජයෙන් ඉල්ලා සිටියේය.

Opposition MP Demands Accountability Amidst Economic Turmoil and Unfulfilled Promises

In a stern address to Parliament, Namal Rajapaksa of the Sri Lanka People's Front criticized the current government for failing to deliver on promises made over the past two years. He condemned the administration for spreading new false assurances while the country grapples with severe corruption and mounting public hardships, likening the President's inaction to a state of blind ignorance.

Rajapaksa highlighted the government's earlier commitment to create 35,000 jobs for graduates during the election period. He pointed out that an alarming 43% of qualified individuals remain unemployed, as substantiated by reports from the International Monetary Fund.

As Sri Lanka descends into one of the worst economic crises in South Asia, Rajapaksa dismissed the government’s claims of progress as laughable. He noted that the country's economic growth rate, which was at 5.3% when the government assumed power, has now plummeted to 4.1%, with inflation soaring to 8.1% as the economy continues to crumble.

The MP also accused the President of turning a blind eye to large-scale corruption within the country, citing a scandal involving the release of 323 containers from the port. He pointed out that individuals responsible for such misconduct remain free, and highlighted the case of a Ministry secretary who improperly transferred $2.5 million to the wrong account, yet has faced no repercussions.

Furthermore, Rajapaksa alleged that over $1 billion has been illicitly transferred out of the country through black market channels between 2025 and 2026. His onslaught didn’t stop there; he also criticized the government's handling of coal imports, revealing that all 19 vessels were in poor condition and that 120,000 metric tons of coal had gone missing. He raised questions about the intentions behind diverting two of the six vessels procured under emergency purchases due to their deteriorated state.

In addition, he lamented the failure of the government to provide promised relief funds for those affected by the 'Ditwa' cyclone, as well as the lack of payments to farmers for rice purchases and delays in fertilizer distribution, all of which have jeopardized the agricultural sector.

Rajapaksa concluded by urging the government to cease its unfounded new promises and instead focus on fulfilling prior commitments, calling for genuine solutions to the pressing issues faced by the public.
