‘පැහැදිලිවම මම වැරැද්දක් කරලා නැහැ. අපිට වැරදි කරන්න අවශ්යතාවයකුත් නැහැ. ඒ හින්දා අපි ඕනෑම වෙලාවක ස්වාධීන පරීක්ෂණවලට මුහුණදෙන්න අපි සූදානම්.බය නම් අපි එන්නෙ නෑ’ යැයි ශ්රී ලංකා පොදුජන පෙරමුණේ ජාතික සංවිධායක පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්රී නාමල් රාජපක්ෂ මහතා පැවසීය.
ඔහු මේ බව ප්රකාශ කලේ අද දින අල්ලස් හා දූෂණ කොමිසම හමුවේ පෙනී සිටීමට පැමිණි අවස්ථාවේ මාධ්ය අමතමිනි.
"නීතිය වැඩ කරන්නේ නැති පාටක් පේන්නේ. මොකද දැන් විනාඩි 15ක් තිස්සේ බලන් හිටියා පාර මාරු වෙන්න. ගිහිල්ලා බලන්න ඕනේ ඉතින්. ගිහිල්ලා අහලා බලලා කියන්නම්. නෑ, මම මෙහෙට කාලෙකට පස්සේ ආවේ. හැබැයි එන්න කියන හැමපාරම එනවා. මොකද අපිට මගහරින්න අවශ්යතාවයක් නැහැනේ.
ආණ්ඩුවේ මැති ඇමතිවරු පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේදී කියන කාරණා දිහා බැලුවාම, ඒ අය දන්නවා මේ රටේ පොලිසියට සහ මේ ආයතනවලට වඩා ඒ අය ගාව තමයි පරීක්ෂණ කටයුතු තියෙන්නේ. ඉතින් ඒ අය පූර්ණ නිගමනවලට ඇවිල්ලා, අත්අඩංගුවට ගන්න ඒවා, නඩු තීන්දු දෙන ඒවා දීලා ඉවරයි. ඒක තමයි මේ දේශපාලනය. ඉතින් අද අවාසනාවකට මේ රටේ පොලිසියත්, අධිකරණ පද්ධතියත් ගේ ස්වාධීනත්වය පිළිබඳව ජනතාව ප්රශ්න කරන්න පටන් අරන් තියෙනවා.
නාමල් රාජපක්ෂ 12 වෙනිදා හිටියත් නැතත්, මහා ජනකායක් 12 වෙනිදා මේ රටේ ගොවි ජනතාව වෙනුවෙන්, රට වෙනුවෙන්, මේ අපේ බලවේගයේ ජයග්රහණය කරන්න එනවා.
මොකද මේ සාක්ෂි හදපු ඒවනෙ තියෙන්නේ. ඒ හින්දා අපි ඒවා වෙලාවට කියන්නම්. ඉතින් සාක්ෂි හදපු කෙනා දන්නවා හදපු සාක්ෂිය මොකක්ද කියලා. ඒකයි කලබල වෙලා තියෙන්නේ.

මොකද ජනාධිපති සාක්ෂි හදපු කෙනානේ. ඉතින් එයා දන්නවා හදපු සාක්ෂිය මොකක්ද කියලා. ඉතින් හදපු සාක්ෂිය කියන කෙනා තමයි පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේ ප්රතිඵලය කියන්නේ. ඉතින් නාමල් රාජපක්ෂගේ ඉරණම තීන්දු කරන්නේ 159 දෙනා නම්, ඔය 159 දෙනාගේ ලොක්කා තමයි සාක්ෂිය හදලා තියෙන්නේ. එහෙම නැතුව මේ සාධාරණ පරීක්ෂණවලින් නෙවෙයි. ඉතින් අපි අදටත් විශ්වාස කරනවා මේ රටේ අධිකරණ පද්ධතිය සාධාරණ විය යුතුයි, සහ සාධාරණත්වය ආරක්ෂා කරන්න ගරු විනිශ්චයකාරවරු සහ මේ රටේ නීති ප්රජාව කටයුතු කරනවා. ඒ වගේම ජනාධිපතිගේ පොලිස් නිලධාරීන් සම්බන්ධයෙනුත් ප්රකාශයක් කරලා තිබ්බනේ. ඉතින් එතුමා ඒ ප්රකාශය, එතුමාගේම ආණ්ඩුවේ පොලිස්පතිවරයාට ගහපු හින්ට් එකක්. යටවෙන්න එපා කියලා බලයටයි සල්ලියි වලටයි. ජනාධිපතිතුමා කිව්වේ තමන්ගේම පොලිස්පතිවරයාට.
මගේ දේශපාලන ගමන තීන්දු කරන්නේ මාලිමාව නෙවෙයි, මේ රටේ ජනතාව. මගේ දේශපාලනය මම ජනතාව එක්ක කරන්නම්. එන්න කිව්ව කාරණය ගිහිල්ලා බලන්න ඕනේ. ගිහිල්ලා බලලා ඇවිල්ලා කියන්නම්.බය නම් අපි එන්නේ නැහැනේ.
අපි එන්න අහපු හැමෝටම කිව්වා එන්න ඕනේ නැහැ කියලා.අහන්න ඕනේ දැන් ඕගොල්ලන්ට ප්රශ්නවලට උත්තර දෙන්න ගියොත් මම මෙතන පරක්කු වෙනවා. ඒ හින්දා මම ගිහිල්ලා ඇවිල්ලා... ගිහිල්ලා එව්වොත්වොත් උත්තර දෙන්නම්. මොකද ඒක අහන්න ඕනේ මේ පැලවත්තෙන්. පැලවත්තෙන් අහලා කියන්නම්.
මම බලන් ඉන්නවා ජනාධිපති ලේකම් කන්ටේනරයට පන්නලා අහුවෙච්ච කෙනෙක්. මම බලනවා ජනාධිපතිතුමා නීතිය ක්රියාත්මක කරන විදිය ඒ ලේකම්ට. බලමුකෝ, ජනාධිපතිතුමා ඊයේ පොලිස්පතිවරයාටත් ගැහුවනේ ෂොට් එකක්. ගිහිල්ලා ආවොත් කියන්නම්."
Namala Rajapaksa Declares Readiness for Independent Investigations Amid Corruption Allegations
In a candid address to the media today, Member of Parliament Namala Rajapaksa, the national organizer of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna, firmly stated, "I am clearly not at fault. We have no need for wrongdoing. Therefore, we are prepared to face any independent investigations at any time. If there’s fear, we won’t attend." This affirmation came following his appearance before the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption.
During his remarks, Rajapaksa expressed skepticism about the integrity of the legal system, remarking on the delays he encountered, stating, "For the past 15 minutes, we’ve been watching traffic. One must get up, check, and then we'll see. I've come here after some time. However, I always respond to calls to attend. We have no need to shy away." He elaborated on the misgivings surrounding the authority of law enforcement, suggesting that ministers possess greater investigative powers than those within the police.
As he assessed the situation, Rajapaksa noted that the public is increasingly questioning the independence of law enforcement and the judiciary. He referenced an upcoming mass gathering on the 12th, intended to advocate for farmers and the nation, asserting, "Though I might not be present on the 12th, a vast crowd will gather for the victory of our coalition." He hinted at upcoming evidence intended to challenge current accusations, suggesting, "Those who constructed the evidence know precisely what they created, which is why there's anxiety."
Rajapaksa reiterated his confidence in the justice system, emphasizing that it should operate fairly, and expressed trust in judges and the legal community in upholding justice. He drew attention to recent remarks made by the President regarding police officers and indirectly cautioned his own administration's police chief, signaling a need for integrity amidst political turbulence.
Rajapaksa was seen observing government officials and remarked on the execution of justice by the President. "Let's see how the President manages the law concerning the Secretary, who is evidently embroiled in controversy," he concluded, suggesting that he is prepared to engage further in dialogue regarding these pressing issues.
