කොළඹ කොටස් වෙළෙඳපොළ ගනුදෙනු නිමාවන විට ප්‍රධාන මිල දර්ශකයන්හි  පහළ යාමක් වාර්තා වූ අතර, දෛනික පිරිවැටුම රුපියල් මිලියන 972 ඉක්මවා සටහන් විය.

ඒ අනුව, දිනය අවසානයේදී සියලු කොටස් මිල දර්ශකය (ASPI) පෙර දිනයට සාපේක්ෂව ඒකක 76.23කින් හෙවත් සියයට 0.35කින් පහත වැටී ඒකක 21,466.00ක් ලෙස සටහන් විය.

S&P SL20 දර්ශකය ද ඒකක 20.65කින් හෙවත් සියයට 0.34කින් පහළ ගොස් සටහන් වූයේ ඒකක 6,033.87ක් වශයෙනි.

දිනය තුළ වාර්තා වූ සමස්ත පිරිවැටුම රුපියල් 972,230,771.25ක් (රුපියල් මිලියන 972.23ක්) වූ අතර, එහිදී ගනුදෙනු වූ කොටස් ප්‍රමාණය 43,107,824කි.

දිනය පුරා කොටස් වෙළෙඳපොළ තුළ සිදුවූ සමස්ත ගනුදෙනු වාර සංඛ්‍යාව 13,152ක් ලෙස සටහන්ව තිබිණි.

Colombo Stock Market Sees Decline Amid Higher Daily Turnover

The Colombo stock market experienced a downturn as it closed, with key indices showing a notable drop alongside a significant increase in daily turnover, which surpassed Rs. 972 million.

At the end of the trading day, the All Share Price Index (ASPI) recorded a decline of 76.23 points, or 0.35%, closing at 21,466.00 points compared to the previous day.

Similarly, the S&P SL20 index fell by 20.65 points, also down by 0.34%, ending the day at 6,033.87 points.

The total turnover for the day reached Rs. 972,230,771.25 (approximately Rs. 972.23 million), with a total of 43,107,824 shares traded.

Throughout the trading session, the stock market recorded a total of 13,152 transactions.
