මරණකරු අවුරුදු 74 ක් වූ බොරලැස්ගමුව ප්රදේශයේ පදිංචිකරුවෙකි.
මරණකරු තම නිවසේ සිටියදී පිස්තෝල අවියක් භාවිතා කර මෙම වෙඩි තැබීම සිදුකර පලාගොස් ඇති බවට මූලික විමර්ශන වලදී අනාවරණය වී ඇත.

Gun Attack in Boralesgamuwa Claims Life of 74-Year-Old
Authorities in Boralesgamuwa have launched an investigation following a fatal shooting that occurred at a residence on Malani Bulathsinghala Mawatha. The police responded to reports of the incident, which left one individual dead.
The victim, a 74-year-old resident of the Boralesgamuwa area, was reportedly shot at home by two unidentified assailants who arrived on a motorcycle.
Initial inquiries suggest that a firearm was used during the attack, after which the perpetrators fled the scene.
The Boralesgamuwa police are continuing their investigations in an effort to apprehend the suspects responsible for this shocking crime.
