 වත්මන් ආණ්ඩුව පන්නා නොදමන්නේ ඇයි කියා ජනතාව අපට දොස් කියනවා යයි හිටපු පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත‍්‍රී තිස්ස අත්තනායක මහතා පවසයි. 

මාධ්‍ය වෙත අදහස් දක්වමින් ඔහු මෙසේ පැවසීය.

"මේ ආණ්ඩුව වැඩක් නෑ එළවන්න කියලා අපට කියන්නෙත් මේ ආණ්ඩුව බලයට ගෙන ඒමට ඡන්දය දුන් අයමයි. විශේෂයෙන්ම ගොවි ජනතාව වෙනුවෙන් කෘෂි විප්ලවයක් ඇති කිරීමට ලාල් කාන්තලා ඇතුළු පිරිස සමග රටේ ජනතාවම එකඟ වුණා. නමුත් ඒ කිසි දෙයක් ආණ්ඩුව කරන්නෙ නැහැ. එහෙම තියෙද්දිත් ආණ්ඩුව පලවා හරින්න ක්‍රියාමාර්ග නොගන්නේ ඇයි කියලා ජනතාව අපිට දොස් කියනවා. එහෙම නැතුව විපක්ෂය දුර්වලයි කියලා ජනතාව කියන්නේ නෑ. මේ වන විට ජනතාවට අවශ්‍ය වෙලා තියෙන්නේ තමන්ට දුන් පොරොන්දු ඉටු නොකළ ආණ්ඩුව පලවා හැරීමටයි. ඒ සඳහා සියලු දෙනාම එකතු විය යුතුයි කියලයි ජනතාව කියන්නේ"

Former MP Thissa Aththanayake Questions Public Discontent with Current Government

Thissa Aththanayake, a former member of parliament, has voiced concerns regarding the public's frustration with the government, claiming they are blaming leaders for not taking action against the current administration.

Speaking to the media, Aththanayake expressed, "The very people who voted this government into power are now saying there is no point in keeping it. The farmers, alongside various groups including Lal Kantha, were united in demanding an agricultural revolution for the benefit of the country. However, the government has done nothing substantial in this regard."

He highlighted the growing impatience among citizens, stating, "Despite this inaction, the public is blaming us for not taking steps to remove the government. They’re not criticizing the opposition for being weak but are instead focused on the urgent need to dismiss a government that has failed to fulfill its promises.” Aththanayake urged collective action among citizens to ensure that their expectations are met.
