මහව ප්‍රාදේශීය සභාවේ ජාතික ජන බලවේග සභාපතිවරයාගේ සහෝදරයෙකු, තමන් සන්තකයේ තිබූ මෙරට නිෂ්පාදිත ගිනි අවියක් හදිසියේ ක්‍රියාත්මක වීමෙන් සිදුවූ බරපතළ තුවාල හේතුවෙන් මියගොස් ඇති බව පුවත්පත් වාර්තා කරයි.

මෙසේ අවාසනාවන්ත ලෙස මියගොස් ඇත්තේ නාගොල්ලගම, පොතුවැව ප්‍රදේශයේ පදිංචිව සිටි සුජීව පුෂ්ප කුමාර නමැති අයෙකි.

වෘත්තියෙන් ගොවියෙකු වන ඔහු, පසුගිය 05 වැනිදා රාත්‍රී කාලයේ මෙරට නිෂ්පාදිත ගිනි අවියක් ද රැගෙන නිවසින් පිටතට ගොස් ඇති බව පොලිස් විමර්ශනවලදී අනාවරණය වී ඇත.

නිවස අසල පිහිටි කඩුල්ලක් අසලින් ගමන් කිරීමේදී ඔහු අත තිබූ ගිනි අවිය හදිසියේ පත්තු වී ඇති අතර, ඉන් ඔහුගේ සිරුරට බරපතළ හානි සිදුව තිබේ.

තුවාලකරු වහාම කුරුණෑගල ශික්ෂණ රෝහලට ඇතුළත් කර ඇති අතර, පසුව වැඩිදුර ප්‍රතිකාර සඳහා මහනුවර ජාතික රෝහල වෙත මාරු කර යවා ඇත.

එහි දැඩි සත්කාර ඒකකයේ ප්‍රතිකාර ලබමින් සිටියදී ඊයේ (07) දහවල් ඔහු මියගොස් තිබේ.

පොලිසිය සැක කරන්නේ මියගිය පුද්ගලයා සතුන් දඩයම් කිරීමේ අරමුණින් මෙම ගිනි අවිය රැගෙන යන්නට ඇති බවයි.

සිද්ධිය සම්බන්ධයෙන් නාගොල්ලගම පොලිසියේ නිලධාරීන් කණ්ඩායමක් වැඩිදුර විමර්ශන පවත්වයි.

Tragic Accident Claims Life of Local Farmer in Nagolla

Reports indicate that a serious accident involving a locally produced firecracker has led to the tragic death of a local farmer and brother of the National People's Power chairman of the Mahawa Pradeshiya Sabha.

The deceased has been identified as Sujeewa Pushpa Kumara, a resident of the Nagollagama area in the Pothuwawa region.

According to police investigations, he was carrying a firecracker outside his home on the evening of the 5th when a mishap occurred.

As he walked past a nearby wall, the firecracker unexpectedly ignited, resulting in severe injuries to his body.

He was immediately admitted to the Kurunegala Teaching Hospital and later transferred to the National Hospital in Kandy for further treatment.

Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries on the afternoon of the 7th while receiving care in the intensive care unit.

The police suspect that he may have been carrying the firecracker for the purpose of hunting animals.

A team of officers from the Nagollagama Police is currently conducting further investigations into the incident.
