මෙහිදි වැඩි දුරටත් අදහස් දැක්වූ මංජුල සුරවීආරච්චි මහතා කියා සිටියේ, මෙතෙක් වතුකරයේ ජනතාවට බොරු පොරොන්දු ලබා දෙමින් ඉන්දියාවේ දමිළ චිත්‍රපටවල නළුවන් සේ රග දක්වන තොන්ඩමන්, දිගම්බරම් සහ රාධාක්‍රිෂ්නන් යන දේශපාලඥයින් වතුකරයෙන් සහ මේ රටෙන් පන්නා දමන්නේ වතුකරයේ තරුණ ප්‍රජාව ජාතික ජන බලවේගය සමග එක්ව බවයි මංජුල සුරවීරආරච්චි මන්ත්‍රීවරයා කියා සිටියේ.

තවද, හැටන් ප්‍රදේශයේ කාලයක් තිස්සේ නොවිසදුනු ගැටළුවලට වත්මන් රජය යටතේ විසදුම් සෙවීමේදි ගිලිහි යන එම දේශපාලනය රැක ගැනීමට වතු ප්‍රජාවට බොරු ගොතමින් එම දේශපාලඥයින් කටයුතු කරන බවත්, එම දේශපාලඥයින්ගේ එම රැවටිලි වලට වතුකරයේ තරුණ ප්‍රජාව සහ වතු කම්කරුවන් කිසිසේත් හසු නොවන බවයි මන්ත්‍රීවරයා කියා සිටියේ.

රටේ අනෙකුත් දිස්ත්‍රික්කවලට සාපේක්ෂව පසුගිය වකවානුව තුල අඩුම සංවර්ධන කටයුතු සිදු වී ඇත්තේ නුවරඑළිය දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ බවත්, එය ඉදිරියේදි වැඩිම සංවර්ධනයක් සිදු කල දිස්ත්‍රික්කය නුවරඑළිය දිස්ත්‍රික්කය බවට පත් කරන බවද මංජුල සුරවීරආරච්චි මහතා මෙහිදි වැඩි දුරටත් පැවසීය.

Government Allocates Increased Funding for Infrastructure Development in Nuwara Eliya District

President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has announced that the Nuwara Eliya District will receive a larger allocation of funds for infrastructure improvements compared to other districts. This investment aims to enhance essential facilities in the region, including the construction of the highest number of houses in the estate sector and the provision of drinking water. The completion of these projects is expected by the end of this year, as noted by the Chairman of the Nuwara Eliya District Coordination Committee and Member of Parliament, Manjula Surwarirachchi.

During a youth conference held at the Kotagala Rithish Hall on the 20th, Surwarirachchi emphasized the government’s commitment to uplift the living conditions of the estate community.

He further criticized the deceptive promises made by certain politicians who have long been a part of the estate's political landscape, comparing them to actors in Indian Tamil films. He revealed that figures such as Thondaman, Digambaram, and Raadhakrishnan are being challenged by the youth of the estate community, who are uniting with the National People’s Power to drive change.

Surwarirachchi also expressed concerns about the failure to resolve longstanding issues in the Hatton area, attributing this to the current government’s strategy of manipulation. He warned that these politicians continue to mislead the estate community, but stressed that the youth and estate workers will not fall prey to such tactics.

Highlighting the relative lack of development in the Nuwara Eliya District compared to other regions during the past few years, Surwarirachchi concluded by reassuring that Nuwara Eliya will soon emerge as the primary district for development in the country.
