වරෙන්තුවක් මත අත්අඩංගුවට ගන්නා ලද බොදු බල සේනා සංවිධානයේ මහලේකම් පූජ්‍ය ගලගොඩඅත්තේ ඥාණසාර හිමියන් හෙට (05) දිනය දක්වා රක්ෂිත බන්ධනාගාරගත කිරීමට කොළඹ මහේස්ත්‍රාත් අධිකරණය අද (04) නියෝග කළේය.

කොළඹ අපරාධ කොට්ඨාසයේ නිලධාරීන් කණ්ඩායමක් විසින් උන්වහන්සේව අත්අඩංගුවට ගෙන අද දින අධිකරණය හමුවට ඉදිරිපත් කිරීමෙන් අනතුරුව මහේස්ත්‍රාත්වරයා විසින් මෙම නියෝගය ප්‍රකාශයට පත් කරන ලදී.

එමෙන්ම, මෙලෙස රක්ෂිත බන්ධනාගාර භාරයට පත් කෙරුණු ඥාණසාර හිමියන් හෙට දිනයේදී අභියාචනාධිකරණය හමුවට ඉදිරිපත් කිරීමට අවශ්‍ය පියවර ගන්නා ලෙසද මහේස්ත්‍රාත්වරයා විසින් අදාළ බලධාරීන්ට වැඩිදුරටත් නියෝග කර තිබේ.

Prominent Buddhist Organization Leader Remanded in Custody

The Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court has ordered the remand of Venerable Galagodaaththe Gnanasara Thera, the General Secretary of the Buddhist Power Force organization, until tomorrow, May 5. This decision follows his arrest based on charges brought against him.

Taken into custody by a team from the Colombo Criminal Division, Gnanasara Thera was presented to the court earlier today, where the magistrate issued the remand order.

Additionally, the magistrate has directed the relevant authorities to take necessary steps to present Gnanasara Thera before the Appeals Court tomorrow for further proceedings.
