කොළඹ කොම්පඤ්ඤවීදිය ප්‍රදේශයේ පිහිටි ප්‍රධාන පෙළේ සුපිරි හෝටල් සංකීර්ණයක 26 වැනි මහලේ සිට 4 වැනි මහලේ පිහිටි වහලය මතට ඇදවැටීමෙන් ධනවත් ව්‍යාපාරිකයෙකු ජීවිතක්ෂයට පත්ව ඇතැයි කොම්පඤ්ඤවීදිය පොලිසිය පවසයි.
මෙසේ මියගොස් ඇත්තේ බත්තරමුල්ල, රාජගිරිය ප්‍රදේශයේ පිහිටි ප්‍රමුඛ පෙළේ සුඛෝපභෝගී නිවාස සංකීර්ණයක් වන ‘ස්කයි ගාඩන්ස්’ හි පදිංචිව සිටි 60 හැවිරිදි වියේ පසුවූ ව්‍යාපාරිකයෙකි.
පොලිස් විමර්ශනවලදී අනාවරණය වී ඇත්තේ අදාළ ව්‍යාපාරිකයා සිද්ධිය වූ හෝටල් පරිශ්‍රයේ 17 වැනි මහලේ පිහිටි කාමරයක නවාතැන් ගෙන සිට ඇති බවයි.
අනතුරුව ඔහු හෝටලයේ 26 වැනි මහල වෙත ගොස් ඇති අතර, එතැන් සිට තට්ටු 22ක පමණ පහළින් පිහිටි 4 වැනි මහල මතට ඔහු ඇදවැටී ඇති බව හෙළිව තිබේ.
මෙම සිදුවීම කිසියම් හදිසි අනතුරක් හේතුවෙන් සිදුවූ ඇදවැටීමක්ද, එසේත් නැතිනම් ඔහු සියදිවි නසාගැනීමේ අරමුණින් පහළට පැන්නේද යන්න මෙතෙක් ස්ථිරව අනාවරණය වී නොමැත.
හෝටලයේ ආරක්ෂක කැමරා පද්ධතියේ දර්ශන සහ ඔහු නවාතැන් ගෙන සිටි කාමරය පරීක්ෂාවට ලක් කරමින් පොලිසිය පුළුල් විමර්ශනයක් අරඹා ඇත.
Businessman Falls to Death from Luxury Hotel in Colombo
A tragic incident has occurred at a leading luxury hotel complex in Colombo's Kompannaweediya area, resulting in the death of a wealthy businessman after he fell from the 26th floor to the 4th floor, as reported by local police.
The deceased, a 60-year-old businessman, resided in a prominent luxury housing complex known as 'Sky Gardens' located in Baththaramulla, Rajagiriya.
Investigations revealed that the businessman was staying in a room on the 17th floor of the hotel prior to the fall. Witness accounts indicate he had later moved to the 26th floor, from where he fell roughly 22 floors to the fourth floor below.
Authorities are currently trying to determine whether this incident was the result of an accidental fall or if the businessman may have taken his own life.
Police have initiated a thorough investigation, examining footage from the hotel's security camera system as well as the room where he was staying.
