වත්මන් ආණ්ඩුවේ කිසි­වකු අප­රාධ ජාල­යට සම්බන්ධ නැතැයි ජන­මාධ්‍ය නියෝජ්‍ය ඇමැ­තිනි ආචාර්ය කෞෂල්‍යා ආරි­ය­රත්න ප්‍රකාශ කළාය.

වැඩි­දු­ර­ටත් අද­හස් පළ­කළ කෞෂල්‍යා ආරි­ය­රත්න මෙණෙ­විය,

දේශ­පා­ල­නය, මත්ද්‍රව්‍ය සහ පාතා­ලය සම්බ­න්ධය අපි කඩ­නවා. එය සම්පූ­ර්ණ­යෙන්ම නතර කර තිබෙ­නවා. මේ ආණ්ඩුවේ දේශ­පා­ල­න­ඥ­යන් අප­රාධ ජාලව­ලට සම්බන්ධ අය නොවෙයි. මේ සම්බ­න්ධ­යෙන් නීති හද­මින් නිසි පරිදි සංවි­ධා­නා­ත්මක අප­රාධ ජාලය මැඬ­ලන්න කට­යුතු කර­නවා. මේ අත්කර ගත් ජය­ග්‍ර­හ­ණය ගැන සුබ­වා­දීව බැලිය යුතු වෙනවා.

මෝටර් රථ­වල ප්‍රමි­තිය සම්බ­න්ධ­යෙන් රෙගු­ලාසි අද ඉදි­රි­පත් කර­නවා. මහ­ජන සෞඛ්‍ය සහ පරි­ස­රය සුර­ක්ෂිත කරන්න මෙය වැද­ගත් වෙනවා. ප්‍රමි­ති­යට අඩු භාණ්ඩ ලංකා­වට ගෙන ආ යුතු නැහැ. දේශීය නිෂ්පා­ද­ක­යන් ආරක්ෂා කර­න්නද අවශ්‍ය වෙනවා. අද දිනයේ බිලි­යන 47ක පරි­පූ­රක ඇස්ත­මේ­න්තු­වක්ද පාර්ලි­මේ­න්තු­වට ඉදි­රි­පත් වෙනවා. සුපිරි ඩීසල් හැර ඉන්ධ­න­ව­ලට සහ­නා­ධා­ර­යක් ලබා­දීම සහ අස්වැ­සුම ප්‍රති­ලාභී පවු­ල්ව­ලට අම­තර දීම­නා­වක් ලබා­දෙන්න ඒ ඇස්ත­මේ­න්තුව ඉදි­රි­පත් කර තිබෙ­නවා. ලෝකය විවිධ දේව­ලට මුහුණ දෙමින් සිටි­නවා. නමුත් විප­ක්ෂය මෙවැ­න්නක් නැහැ වගේ ඉන්නවා. ලෝකයේ බර­ප­තළ දෙයක් සිදු­නොවේ යැයි ප්‍රකාශ කර­නවා. ලංකාවේ ඛණිජ තෙල් මිල නිසා භාණ්ඩ මිල ඉහළ යනවා. ඒ වගේම ජංගම ගිණු­ම­ටත් මෙය ඍජු­වම බල­පා­නවා.

මේ වසරේ සැප්තැ­ම්බර් දක්වා ඩොලර් බිලි­යන 4.9ක් ඉන්ධන සඳහා වෙන්කර තිබෙ­නවා. නමුත් 2025 වස­රේදී බිලි­යන 2.96ක් පමණ වෙන්කර තිබෙ­නවා. ඇතැම් දේවල් පුරෝ­ක­ථ­නය කරන්න බැහැ. මේවා කළ­ම­නා­ක­ර­ණය කර­මින් ඉන්නවා. ලබන වසර වෙනු­වෙන් අය – වැයක් සක­ස්කොට තිබෙ­නවා. ආර්ථික වර්ධ­න­යක් ඇති­කර ගැනීම දක්වා අභි­යෝග කළ­ම­නා­ක­ර­ණය කර­ගන්නේ කොහො­මද. බාහිර අව­දා­නම් එලෙස තිබෙ­නවා. මේ වසරේ මැද භාගයේ සංචා­රක අංශයේ අඩු­වක් තිබු­ණත් මේ වන­විට හොඳ මට්ට­මට පැමිණ තිබෙ­නවා.

No Links to Criminal Networks, Asserts Minister Kaushalya

In a statement aimed at dispelling rumors, Minister of State for Media, Dr. Kaushalya Ariyaratne, emphasized that no members of the current government are connected to criminal networks.

Her comments follow an outline of the government's stance on eliminating links between politics and illicit activities such as drug trafficking. "We are committed to severing these ties completely. The politicians in this government are not affiliated with criminal organizations, and we are actively working through legislation to dismantle organized crime," she said, highlighting a recent success in this effort.

Additionally, new regulations concerning vehicle standards are being drafted to ensure public health and environmental safety. She stressed that substandard products should not be imported into Sri Lanka, underlining the importance of protecting local manufacturers. Today, a supplementary estimate for 47 billion rupees is set to be presented in Parliament. This estimate includes support for fuel, excluding premium diesel, and additional assistance for low-income families depending on the agriculture sector.

The current global scenario presents numerous challenges. However, she noted a stark absence of constructive opposition, stating that despite the world facing gravity, claims are made that nothing significant has occurred. Rising commodity prices in Sri Lanka are attributed to the fluctuating prices of crude oil.

According to estimates, $4.9 billion has been allocated for fuel until September this year, while approximately $2.96 billion has been earmarked for 2025. The government is managing these allocations with care. She expressed the intent to prepare comprehensive strategies for the next year, addressing how to deal with challenges to achieve economic growth before external threats arise. Although there were declines in the travel sector earlier this year, it has since rebounded to healthy levels.
