වත්මන් ජනාධිපති අනුර කුමාර දිසානායක මහතාට රටේ පාලනය නිසි ලෙස කරගෙන යාමට නොහැකි වුවහොත්, ඉතිරි කාලසීමාව සඳහා රටේ වගකීම භාර ගැනීමට හිටපු ජනාධිපති රනිල් වික්රමසිංහ මහතා සූදානම් වන බවට දේශපාලන ක්ෂේත්රයේ විවිධ කසුකුසු පවතින බව හිටපු පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්රී තිස්ස කුට්ටිආරච්චි මහතා පවසයි.
පවතින ආර්ථික සහ සමාජීය දේශපාලන තත්ත්වය හමුවේ වත්මන් ජනාධිපතිවරයාට වැඩි කාලයක් මෙම ධුරය දැරීමට නොහැකි වනු ඇති බවත්, එම නිසා 2029 වසරට පෙර ජනාධිපති ධුරයේ පෙරළියක් සිදුවිය හැකි බවත් මන්ත්රීවරයා අවධාරණය කරයි.
හිටපු ජනාධිපති රනිල් වික්රමසිංහ මහතා මේ වන විටත් ඒ සඳහා අවශ්ය කටයුතු වෙනුවෙන් සූදානම් වෙමින් පවතින බවත් කුට්ටිආරච්චි මහතා සඳහන් කළේය.
රනිල් වික්රමසිංහ මහතා ජාත්යන්තරය පිළිගත් නායකයෙකු බැවින්, රටේ ආර්ථික අර්බුදය හමුවේ පසුගිය කාලයේ මෙන්ම නැවත වරක් කොටේ ඇදීමට ඔහු ඉදිරිපත් වීමේ හැකියාවක් පවතින බව මන්ත්රීවරයාගේ මතයයි.
නාමල් රාජපක්ෂ මහතාගේ දේශපාලන අනාගතය පිළිබඳව අදහස් දක්වමින් ඔහු පවසා සිටියේ, නාමල් රාජපක්ෂ මහතා බලය ලබා ගැනීමට බලාපොරොත්තු වන්නේ ජනතාවගේ ඡන්දයකින් මිස මෙවැනි අතුරු පාලනයක් හරහා නොවන බවයි. ඒ සඳහා සුදුසුම කාලය 2029 වසර බව ඔවුන්ගේ විශ්වාසයයි.
මීට අමතරව, රාජපක්ෂවරුන් විසින් උගන්ඩාවේ මුදල් සඟවා ඇති බවට එල්ල වන චෝදනා සම්බන්ධයෙන් ද මන්ත්රීවරයා අභියෝගයක් කළේය.
එම හොරකම් ඔප්පු කිරීමට වත්මන් රජයට තවමත් නොහැකි වී ඇති බවත්, අවම වශයෙන් එක රුපියලක හෝ හොරකමක් ඔප්පු කළහොත් එදිනට තමන් රාජපක්ෂ කඳවුරේ නොසිටින බවත් ඔහු වැඩිදුරටත් කියා සිටියේය

However, given the instability caused by the ongoing war along with United States not having an exit strategy, and lack of prep by the government of Sri Lanka, either people will have to extensively suffer, or, RW will have to lead. However, another series of anti-government protests similar to Gota's era won't be repeated, in my opinion. That phase of the South Asian nations is seemingly over.

When Ranil took office in July 2022, This country was in a state of collapse. The economy had contracted by 7.8% , inflation had peaked at nearly 70% , foreign reserves were effectively exhausted, and the country had just defaulted on its $46 billion external debt . Essential imports food, fuel, medicine were unavailable, and people were experiencing hours-long power cuts daily.

ReplyDeleteYoung monkeys who struggled to power being in the jungle are now sitting in the parliament. Of course, they got no experience in national administration. People gave them power because predecessors brought the country to bankruptcy but not because they liked current lot. Innocent voters will be cheated again, because even in Sajith's lot most of them are with enormous corruption allegations, like "footnote clan". In this backdrop, could even GOD help Sri Lanka? a country heading failure.
