ත්‍රිකුණාමල තෙල් ටැංකි ආයෝජකයින්ට දෙනවා..- සිපෙට්කෝ

 ත්‍රිකුණාමලය ප්‍රදේශය ජාත්‍යන්තර මට්ටමේ බලශක්ති කේන්ද්‍රස්ථානයක් ලෙස සංවර්ධනය කිරීමේ අරමුණින් එහි පිහිටි තෙල් ටැංකි 29ක් දිගුකාලීන බදු පදනම මත ආයෝජකයන් වෙත ලබා දීමට රජය තීරණය කර තිබේ.

ලංකා ඛනිජ තෙල් නීතිගත සංස්ථාවේ  කළමනාකාර අධ්‍යක්ෂ මයුර නෙත්තිකුමාර මහතා මේ බව අනාවරණය කළේය.

ඔහු පෙන්වා දෙන්නේ ලංකා ඛනිජ තෙල් නීතිගත සංස්ථාවට 51%ක හිමිකාරීත්වයක් පවතින CPSTL සමාගම යටතේ පවතින තෙල් ටැංකි 61න් 29ක් මෙලෙස ආයෝජකයන් වෙත ලබා දීමට නියමිත බවයි.

මෙම ව්‍යාපෘතිය සඳහා සුදුසු ආයෝජකයන් තෝරා ගැනීම වෙනුවෙන් යෝජනා කැඳවීමේ ක්‍රියාවලිය මේ වන විට සූදානම් කරමින් පවතින බවද ඔහු සඳහන් කළේය.

මීට අමතරව, ත්‍රිකුණාමලයේ පිහිටි ලංකා ඛනිජ තෙල් නීතිගත සංස්ථාවට සෘජුවම අයත් තෙල් ටැංකි 24 ප්‍රතිසංස්කරණය කිරීමේ කටයුතුද මේ වන විට ආරම්භ කර ඇත.

ඉන් ටැංකි දෙකක වැඩකටයුතු දැනටමත් අවසන් කර ඇති අතර, තවත් ටැංකි තුනක ප්‍රතිසංස්කරණ කටයුතු මේ දිනවල සිදු කෙරෙමින් පවතී.

සංස්ථාවේ මූලික ඉලක්කය වන්නේ එම ටැංකි 24ම කඩිනමින් ප්‍රතිසංස්කරණය කර මෙහෙයුම් කටයුතු සඳහා එක් කර ගැනීම බව නෙත්තිකුමාර මහතා වැඩිදුරටත් පැවසීය.

Government to Lease 29 Oil Tanks in Trincomalee to Investors

The government has decided to lease 29 oil tanks located in Trincomalee to investors on a long-term rental basis, aiming to develop the area into an international energy hub.

This announcement was made by Mayura Neththikumar, the Managing Director of the Lanka Mineral Oil Corporation. He emphasized that under the company CPSTL, which holds a 51% ownership stake in the Lanka Mineral Oil Corporation, out of the 61 oil tanks available, 29 are set to be offered to investors.

Neththikumar revealed that the process of calling for proposals to select suitable investors for this project is currently underway.

Additionally, he mentioned that renovation works for 24 oil tanks directly owned by the Lanka Mineral Oil Corporation in Trincomalee have already commenced.

Two of these tanks have completed renovations, while work on three more is currently in progress. The corporation's primary goal is to complete the renovation of all 24 tanks swiftly to facilitate operations, Neththikumar further stated.
