අනුරාධපුරයේ පැවති ජන රැළියට නොදෙවැනි රැළියක් පැවැත්වීම සම්බන්ධයෙන් සාකච්ඡා පවත්වා ඇති බව ශ්‍රී ලංකා පොදුජන පෙරමුණේ පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රී ඩී.වී. චානක මහතා පවසයි.

වත්මන් රජය ජනතාව වෙත ලබාදුන් පොරොන්දු ඉටු කරන ලෙස බලකිරීම මෙම රැළිය මඟින් අපේක්ෂා කරන බව හෙතෙම සඳහන් කළේය.

නාමල් රාජපක්ෂ මහතා සහ මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ මහතා කෙරෙහි ආදරය කරන විශාල ජනතාවක් රට තුළ සිටින බව පෙන්වා දුන් මන්ත්‍රීවරයා, නාමල් රාජපක්ෂ මහතා සිරගත කිරීමට උත්සාහ කළද ඔහු වෙනුවෙන් ජනතාව පෙරමුණ ගනිමින් සිටින බවද ප්‍රකාශ කළේය.

එහිදී වැඩිදුරටත් අදහස් දැක්වූ ඒ මහතා මෙසේ සඳහන් කළේය.

“අනුරාධපුර රැළියට නොදෙවැනි රැළියක් පවත්වා, මේ ආණ්ඩුව ජනතාවට දුන් පොරොන්දු ඉටු කරන මෙන් බලකිරීම සඳහාත් අපි අද සාකච්ඡා කළා. නාමල් රාජපක්ෂ මහතාට සහ මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ මහතාට ආදරය කරන ජනතාවක් තමයි රටේ ඉන්නේ. 2029 දී අනුර කුමාර දිසානායක මහතාව පරාජය කරන නාමල් රාජපක්ෂව සිරගත කරන්න උත්සාහ කරද්දී, අද රටේ ජනතාව එකතු වෙනවා ඔහුව ආරක්ෂා කරගන්න. ඒ වැඩපිළිවෙළ තමයි මේ ක්‍රියාත්මක වෙන්නේ.”

Mass Rally Planned in Anuradhapura Calls for Government Accountability

Discussions are underway regarding an upcoming rally in Anuradhapura, as revealed by D. V. Chanaka, a member of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) in Parliament. The rally aims to emphasize the need for the current government to fulfill its promises made to the people.

Chanaka underscored that there remains significant public support for prominent figures like Namal Rajapakse and Mahinda Rajapakse. He pointed out that despite attempts to imprison Namal Rajapakse, the citizens continue to rally behind him, demonstrating their unwavering loyalty.

Further elaborating on the planned event, Chanaka stated, "We are organizing this rally in Anuradhapura to urge the government to deliver on the commitments made to the public. The love for Namal Rajapakse and Mahinda Rajapakse is evident among the people of this country. In the face of attempts to thwart Namal Rajapakse before the 2029 elections, the citizens are uniting to protect him. This initiative is set in motion, and we are committed to it."
