වසර දෙකක් පුරාවට ඔවුන් කියා සිටියේ අපට එරෙහිව ඔවුන් සතුව සාක්ෂි තිබෙන බවයි. සොරා ගත් මුදල් නැවත ලබා ගෙන සත්‍ය හෙළි කරන බවයි. 

මා සම්බන්ධව යම් සාක්ෂියක් පවතින්නේ නම්, සාධාරණ සහ අපක්ෂපාතී පරීක්ෂණයකට මුහුණ දීමට මම සූදානම්. කිසියම් වරදක් සිදු කර ඇත්නම් එයට අදාළ නීතිමය පසුබිම යටතේ කටයුතු කිරීමට මම සූදානම්. 

නීතියට මුවා වී වෛරී සහගත දේශපාලන පලි ගැනීම් සිදු නොවිය යුතු බව අවධාරණය කරමි.

අද දිනයේ සැප්තැම්බර් 18 දක්වා මා රක්ෂිත බන්ධනාගාරගත කිරීමට පියවර ගෙන තිබෙනවා.

හෙට රජය බලයට පැමිණ වසර දෙකක් ගතවන මොහොතේ ජන හමු පැවැත්වීමට නියමිත අතර,ජනාධිපතිවරයා එහිදී ජනතාව අමතනු ඇත. වසර දෙකක පාලනයෙන් පසුව ජනතාව වෙනුවෙන් සැබැවින්ම ඉටු කළේ කුමක්දැයි බරපතල ගැටළු බොහෝමයක් මතු වී ඇති අවස්ථාවක, අද මේ සිදුවීම නොසලකා හැරීම අපහසු ය. 

එසේම, සැප්තැම්බර් 12 වනදා අනුරාධපුරයේ පැවැත්වීමට නියමිත අපගේ දැවැන්ත ජන රැළිය සඳහා දහස් ගණනින් ජනතාව එක්වීමට නියමිතය.

මා හට බිය වීමට කිසිවක් නැත. සඟවා තැබීමට කිසිවක් නැත. මා සෑම මොහොතකම විශ්වාස කළ නිවැරදි දෑ වෙනුවෙන්ද, මා නියෝජනය කරන ජනතාව වෙනුවෙන් ද පෙනී සිටින අධිෂ්ඨානයෙන් මේ සියලු අභියෝගයන්ට මුහුණ දෙමි. 

මාගේ නිදහස අහිමි කළ හැක්කේ එක්තරා කාලයකට පමණි. නමුත් මාගේ හඬ, මාගේ විශ්වාසයන් හෝ මාගේ ආදරණීය මාතෘ භූමියේ ජනතාව වෙනුවෙන් මා කරන කැප කිරීම උදුරා ගත නොහැක.

මේ සියලු සිදුවීම් කුමක් උදෙසාද, කවදා කවුරුන් විසින් සිදු කළේද යන්න ඉතිහාසය සාක්ෂි දරනු ඇත.

Namahl Rajapaksa Addresses Allegations Ahead of September 18th Detention

Namahl Rajapaksa, a member of Parliament currently held in protective custody, took to his official social media to address various allegations against him. He has been facing scrutiny for the past two years, with authorities claiming to possess evidence against him regarding misappropriated funds and other offenses.

Rajapaksa expressed his readiness to confront any allegations, stating, "If there is any evidence against me, I am prepared to undergo a fair and impartial investigation. Should I have committed any wrong, I am willing to face the legal consequences." He underscored the importance of ensuring that political disputes do not unfold through unlawful means.

As of this date, he is scheduled to remain in custody until September 18. The announcement comes just days before the government marks two years in power, a period that has raised significant questions about the achievements on behalf of the public. Rajapaksa mentioned that the President is expected to address the nation during this crucial moment.

Moreover, a massive public rally is set to be held in Anuradhapura on September 12, where thousands of supporters are expected to gather. Rajapaksa remains unfazed by the challenges ahead, asserting, "I have nothing to fear and nothing to hide. I will stand firm for the truth I believe in and for the people I represent." He firmly declares that while his freedom could be temporarily restricted, his voice, his beliefs, and his commitment to the people of Sri Lanka are invincible.

"Political power is transient," he reflected, "but the truth is eternal. History will bear witness to the motives behind every event and the identities of those who orchestrated them." Rajapaksa concluded with a resolute stance against the accusations, vowing to confront them head-on.
